Leviathan is a minor antagonist in the manga series Kinnikuman.
He appears during the current arc of the manga as one of the Choshin the descends to kill all Chojin.
Biography[]
Past[]
Leviathan was once one of the many Choshin that resided within the Celestial Plane amongst all of the other Gods including The Man and the Five Evil Gods. Leviathan, much like all of the Choshin, created the Chojin in order for them to grow in power and one of them eventually ascended to the position of the empty seat of Choshin.
After millions of years of waiting, the Chojin had proved to be unworthy to all of the Choshin aside from The Man and Five Evil Gods, so the Choshin would use their Capillaria Rays to erase most of the Chojin, the only ones surviving being the one's saved by the Unforgivable Yggdrasil and the Perfect Origin.
The Choshin would wait for The Man and the Five Evil Gods would allow the surviving Chojin to live and wait for The Man to train the Perfect Origin into potential Choshin.
Kinnikuman (2011)[]
After The Man was defeated by Akuma Shogun and all of the Perfect Origin had been killed, the Choshin would descend to give the Chojin one final test where they would battle the Chojin to see if they were worthy to ascend and if they lost, they would take the six Capillaria Pieces that The Man and Five Evil Gods and erase all of the Chojin from the Earth without anything stopping them.
After the God of Harmony agreed to allow the Chojin to try their might in the Tower of Babel against the Choshin to test if they were worthy to ascend, Leviathan would agree to being a test. He would wait on one of the floors for his opponent to arrive, eventually, both Neptuneman and Robin Mask would arrive on the floor and Neptuneman would challenge him to a fight.
Leviathan would throw off his cape to reveal a special armor he was wearing that both Neptune King and The Man wore while pretending to be Big the Budo and Strong the Budo respectively. Leviathan would explain that this was special armor worn by Choshin when they are ready to show their resolve. Neptuneman would swear to tear the armor off of him due to his unpleasant past with Neptune King.
The two would fight with Leviathan holding the advantage because Neptuneman was so used to fighting in tag team matches and kept reaching out to a partner that isn't there. Eventually, Robin Mask would remind Neptuneman of his past as a lone wolf which made him fight better and would lead to him beating Leviathan. Leviathan would approve of Neptuneman being taken to the top of the Tower of Babel, teleporting him and Neptuneman up there.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Choshin Body Creation: While in the Celestial Realm, the Choshin are formless and can't physically interact with the Mortal Plane. In order to do so, they need to form special Choshin Bodies in order to descend upon the Mortal Plane. These bodies are slightly weaker than their formless spirits but the power difference is so minor that it wouldn't matter to most Chojin who have far less power than the bodies of the Choshin.
- Choshin Physiology: Choshin are the utmost of what a Chojin can be, having almost godly strength, speed and durability above all others. Additionally, due to being literal Gods, they do not age at all and they possess the ability to fly. Another ability that Choshin should have is the ability to grow to be as large as a building
- Capillaria Ray Immunity: The Choshin all have a protective aura around their body that protects them from the negative effects of the Capillaria Rays, much like the Earth's atmosphere protects the Earth from cosmic radiation and intense heat. This aura can be broken if enough damage is dealt to them.
