Lieutenant Bill Jackson is the main antagonist in the 2008 film Felon.

He is played by Harold Perrineau.

Biography[]

Jackson is a ruthless and corrupt lieutenant in charge of the Security Housing Unit (SHU) at a high-security prison.

Known for his authoritarian leadership style, he uses fear and violence to maintain control over inmates and staff alike. He orchestrates illegal inmate fights during yard time, turning them into a form of entertainment and personal gain.

Jackson thrives on manipulation, often exploiting the system to silence prisoners who threaten his authority.

Driven by a sense of superiority and untouchability, Jackson fabricates evidence to extend Wade Porter's sentence, punishing him for refusing to comply with his demands. His lack of empathy and disregard for the rule of law make him a symbol of institutional corruption.

Jackson’s oppressive regime is exposed after his death. His role highlights the dangers of unchecked power within the prison system.

Trivia[]

In the film the real life serial killer Clifton Bloomfield plated as an extra.
