Lieutenant Tulio Herrera was the main antagonist of the Season 3 episode "Mr. & Mrs. Mazikeen Smith" of the TV series Lucifer. He is a corrupt former lieutenant of the L.A.P.D. who was behind the murder of two children and framed the bounty hunter Ben Rivers for the crime.
He was portrayed by Marco Sanchez.
History[]
During his time as an organized crime lieutenant, Herrera was secretly a criminal who occasionally hired the bounty hunter Ben Rivers to tie up loose ends. However, once Rivers quit, Herrera wasn't happy with it and so he then murdered two children before framing him for their deaths. He also blackmailed the security guard so he can claim that Rivers was responsible. Rivers, thanks to the help of Athena Burns, was able to escape.
Two years later, he is met by the bounty hunter Mazikeen Smith, who offers to hunt down Rivers. Not wanting Rivers to remain a threat to him, he agreed and told her he may be in Canada. After this, he sends another assassin to follow her and kill both of them to cover up loose ends. Eventually, after Chloe grew suspicious along Rivers' confession, Herrera's crime was exposed and he was arrested.
According to Rivers, it is later revealed that Herrera was secretly working for a very powerful shadowy figure who kept files on Mazikeen along with Lucifer Morningstar, Amenadiel, their mother and Gaudium. It is later revealed that this shadowy figure was in fact none other than the Sinnerman himself, Marcus Pierce.
