The nameless pilot of the Lightning Strike Skell is a minor antagonist featured in Xenoblade Chronicles X.
Biography[]
The pilot was an assassin hired by Alex to assassinate Eliza, a politician supporting peace between humans and Xenos. Although the assassin manages to shoot her with a sniper rifle, she survives the wound and the party was tasked with tracking down the assassin responsible to the Industrial District where the assassin was spotted climbing into a Skell and flying off into Sylvalum.
The sniper is encountered in his Skell attacking a dangerous monster where he pleads to be let go, but should the player refuse, the sniper will attack the player before killing the monster. However, the player emerges victorious and the sniper was taken into custody for interrogation.
Later, Alice explains she knows that Alex was the man who hired the assassin to kill her friend in the middle of her speech.
Later on, Eliza and Alice were able to find evidence that it was Alex and his followers who were behind the attempted assassination on Eliza.
Powers and Abilities[]
The pilot of the Lightning Strike is an assassin capable of making use of sniper rifles in order to target his victims. In addition, he is capable of making use of a Skell to attack his enemies.
