Lilith is the first human woman created by God in The Great Devil War series by Kenneth B. Andersen, and the first wife of Adam.
Lilith acted horribly towards both Adam and the animal of the Garden of Eden, and as such she was banished to the Land of Nod, or Outer Reach, by God. She was also growing deformities, in the shape of different parts from different snimals, and became a grotesque-looking being. There, she would eventually find Cain and fall in love with him, with both of them having monstrous children and thus becoming the ancestors of the accursed, the monsters of Outer Reach. Due to the fact that Lilith was banished from Paradise before Adam and Eve ate of the Tree of Knowledge and had their immortality stripped from them, Lilith remained immortal, as she had not disobeyed God.
At one point the devil Aziel Stofeles came to Cain and convinced him to join his army for the cause of usurping Lucifer from the throne of Hell, although Lilith did not trust the devil. Her suspicions were confirmed when Aziel murdered Cain to unleash the curse God put on him on Hell. Just as Aziel's army was winning against the devils of Hell, however, God intervened and rescued Lucifer's army. Aziel however managed to escape, and so did Lilith, vowing to avenge Cain. She never got her chance, however, as Aziel was killed shortly thereafter by the human boy Philip Engel.
For years thereafter, Lilith hid herself in the dungeon of Lucifer's castle, until one day a devil named Droel tricked her into abducting Jesus and his son from Paradise, promising that this way she could get Cain back to life. She did as she was told, but instead Jesus was forced to resurrect Aziel, who slit Lilith's throat and then made her drink the juice of an apple from the Tree of Knowledge. Being a human and having been forced to "disobey" the order God had given to humanity, like Adam and Eve had done, Lilith lost her immortality and slowly died from the wound, but not before managing to show her memories to Philip Engel when he nd the she-devil Satina Dargue found her dying in a forgotten underworld.
