Lily Cutmore is the main antagonist from the 2007 Lifetime film Perfect Child.

She was played by Nicole Muñoz.

Biography

Lily Cutmore is the only child of Colleen and Paul Cutmore, though the film's events showed Paul raising Lily on his own following his divorce from Colleen. At some point prior to the film's events, Paul was in a relationship with a woman named Rebecca Sullivan, who Lily saw as a threat, as she believed that Rebecca was trying to take her father away from her. Lily turned heel and attempted to kill Rebecca by poisoning her, though Rebecca was only hospitalized and saved by the doctors. Rebecca's survival led to Lily making a second and more successful attempt, dropping her father's hair dryer in the bathtub.

Rebecca's sudden death remained a mystery despite her sister, Diane Sullivan, suspecting Lily as her claims weren't believed. The film's events saw Paul engage in a relationship with main protagonist Sarah Leslie, with the couple eventually becoming husband and wife. Lily appeared to befriend Sarah at first, but once Sarah became her new stepmother, her psychotic side resurfaced and she planned to get Lily out of the way. She used her computer skills to get into Lily's laptop and sabotage her work, making it appear that she had leaked information regarding Paul's company, and later in the film, Lily poisoned herself and activated her nut allergy, making it appear that Sarah was either neglectful or intentionally harmful.

Sarah had suspected Monica Norden, Paul's assistant, of the incidents, though after meeting with insurance agent Clyde Barrish, Sarah learned about Diane during her inquiries about Rebecca's death. After visiting Diane at a psychiatric hospital, Sarah found out that Lily had been behind Rebecca's death, as Diane revealed that Lily had been threatening Rebecca and written her murderous plans in her diary, and had also done an internet search on untraceable poisons.

During the film's climax, Sarah was left with Lily while Paul was at work, and she inspected Lily's laptop to find that she had done a search on arsenic, meaning that Lily was planning to kill Sarah. The psychotic villainess served dinner to herself and Sarah, who made excuses for not eating before being contacted by Paul, who stated that he would be busy for several more hours. After hanging up, Sarah informed Lily that Paul would be home soon, only for Lily to remind Sarah that she had just said that they would go to his office.

Lily later figured out that Sarah had been looking into her, and she made false attempted murder accusations towards Sarah before she ran out of the house. Sarah tracked her evil stepdaughter to a nearby stream, where Lily fell into the water and called for Sarah's help. Sarah's attempt saw her brushed away by the storm, though she swam to safety and searched for Lily, only to be attacked by the maniacal villainess. At that moment, the evil Lily lambasted Sarah for returning, while also admitting to killing Rebecca before making her attempt towards Sarah, only to fall over.

Lily was taken away in an ambulance and taken into custody, and the film's final scenes showed Paul and a visibly pregnant Sarah visiting Lily at a psychiatric hospital. After stating that she hated her experience, Lily asked for a new diary before apologizing to Sarah for her actions, adding that she didn't deserve what Lily had done to her.
