Lindom is a Wicked Dragon at the service of Jaryuu Clan and under the command of Ryuuwon. He is the main antagonist in episode 13 of GoGo Sentai Boukenger. He is the second of the Wicked Dragons, under Ryuuwon's rule. He was sent by Ryuuwon to obtain the Medicine of Immortality and outdo and defeat the Boukengers.
He is voiced by Daisuke Gori, who previously voiced Chuuzubo in Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger and also voiced Dozle Zabi and Bask Om in Mobile Suit Gundam.
Biography[]
Lindom was tasked by Ryuuwon with obtaining the Medicine of Immortality. Leading a pack of Dragonoid Soldiers, Lindom searched for the keys needed to unlock the treasure but was met with resistance from both the Boukengers and a phantom thief named Selene. After BoukenBlue let Selene have the final key needed to locate it, Lindom followed her to find the treasure. Once she unearthed the box that held the medicine, Lindom snatched it from her and opened it, only to find that it contained only sand. Furious, Lindom attempted to kill her but Souta, the BoukenBlue and the other Boukengers swooped in to defend her. Lindom was defeated when Souta blasted him with the Dual Crusher, but fell onto the sand spilled out from the box (which was actually the medicine itself) and was revived and enlarged by its power. The Boukengers then formed DaiBouken and struck him down again in Super DaiBouken, killing him for good.
Personality[]
Lindom was shown to be quite cunning, ruthless, cold and relentless at his mission to obtain the Medicine of Immortality and destroy the Boukengers. He was also shown to be cunning and unpredictable, when he tricked Selene by making her unknowingly lead him to find the Precious. He was also shown to be vengeful, as he wanted to kill Selene for opposing him and interfering with his plans. However, he was also arrogant and confident, and underestimated the Boukengers which led to his defeat and he was defeated by the heroes.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Flame Breath: Lindom can spew out red, orange, and yellow colored flames from his mouth. He can also spew out orange and yellow colored flame lasers from his mouth, which are similar to the ones that the Dragonoid Jaryuu soldiers use, but are more powerful.
- Lightning Strike: Lindom can generate and fire lightning bolts from his chest.
- Lightning Empowerment: Scaletex can power himself up with orange and red-colored lightning around himself for an increase in strength.
- Chest Lightning Blast: Scaletex can launch a blast of red and orange colored lightning from his chest.
- Prehensile Tail: Lindom's tail can stretch over great lengths to grab enemies. He can also generate electricity through his tail to electrocute the ensnared foe.
- Superhuman Strength: Lindom is one of the stronger monsters thus far into the season, being able to knock Chief with a single punch.
- Superhuman Durability- Lindom, like his name suggests, has scales that enabled him to take several hits from the Drive Lance without damage.
- Extraordinary Leaper: Lindom can leap at an incredible distance.
- Size Enlargement: Lindom can grow giant when he absorbed the Potion of Immortality.
