Little Red Riding Hood is a minor character in DreamWorks' 8th full-length animated feature film Shrek 2, and a supporting antagonist in DreamWorks' 14th full-length animated feature film Shrek the Third.

Biography

Red appears as an attendant of the Poison Apple who believes Prince Charming and his speech to get a happy ending. Because of this, she joins him in taking over the kingdom.

In the end, she and the other villains are inspired by Arthur to abandon their crimes to find their own happy ending.

Trivia

• She was not a villain in her fairy tale (unlike the other Poison Apple attendants). This was done because Big Bad Wolf (the villain of her story) was an ally of Shrek.
• It's possible the reason she feels she didn’t get a happy ending is because in her fairytale, her grandmother usually ends up dead.
