The Lizard League are supporting antagonists in the comic book series Invincible and its animated adaptation of the same name. Existing for several years, the Lizard League has had various success in dealing with the heroes of Earth.

Biography

During the prequel, Invincible: Atom Eve, the League was shown attempting to rob a Bio-Lab for a serum to boost their abilities with the present leader, Queen Lizard, mentoring him on basics tactics during the infiltration. The group was intercepted by the original Guardians of the Globe, who met them on equal footing. It wasn't until the arrival of Omni-Man that the Guardians were able to win.

Over the years that followed, Queen Lizard died, and her son took the mantle of King Lizard. After an untold incident, King Lizard was arrested, causing Supreme Lizard to take over. The new Guardians of the Globe would go to fight them when Supreme Lizard ordered the League to attack a Research Lab in Dallas. Upon arriving, the Guardians were met with a new superhero, Shapesmith, already on the scene. The League escaped, with Supreme Lizard returning to the lair, only to be killed by the recently escaped King Lizard.

The Guardians would face the Lizard League again, only for it to end disastrously. Shrinking Ray/Rae was eaten alive by Komodo Dragon, although the cartoon's female would barely survive. Dupli-Kate's many copies would also be killed by Komodo Dragon, traumatizing her into faking her death. Angered, Rex Splode went on a rampage, killing both Komodo Dragon and King Lizard.
