Biography[]
Lo and Li lived in the Fire Nation and inherited their parents's house after their parents died. They were appointed as Princess Azula's firebending mentors when the princess was a child.
Lo and Li accompanied Azula during her journey to the Earth Kingdom, when Azula wanted to retrieve her brother Zuko, when he failed to capture Aang. The twins were also the ones who advised Azula to leave jer royal palace as an element of surprise in order to capture her fugitive brother and uncle.
Later, after the Earth Kingdom fell under the siege of the Fire Nation military thanks to Azula's plan and the newly returned Zuko, the sisters declared the victory of the Fire Nation over the newly conquered territories.
After Fire Lord Ozai appointed himself as a Phoenix King, Lo and Li came to Azula and they were astonished that princess fired all of her servants for thinking of their potential betrayal. After being insulted by the twins, Azula mistakenly ordered them to fight at the Agni Kai. However, the sisters quickly reminded the princess that they were non-benders, which made Azula mistakenly fire Li, while pointing at Lo, leaving the twins confused who was fired and who could leave.
After Ozai was defeated by Aang and the Fire Nation surrendered, with Zuko being crowned as Fire Lord and the hundred year old war ended, Lo and Li's further fate is unknown, because it was never made clear whether they were banished or possibly forgiven because they never committed any war crimes and only obeyed the orders of the Fire Nation royal family.
