Lobster Zoidberg is a supporting antagonist in the Futurama episode "Natrurama." He is an animalistic version of Dr. Zoidberg who terrorizes salmon.
He was voiced by Billy West, who also voiced the Round Wheels version of Zoidberg, as well as voicing Zapp Brannigan and Professtro in the same series, and Ren Höek in Ren & Stimpy.
History[]
Zoidberg first appeared during the salmon's migration to the ocean, just after a waterfall had killed three of the nine fish. He grabbed the salmon version of Scruffy and ate him, saying that five survivors was still good for their species. He appeared a second time when the Salmon attempted to return home. Here, he caught and ate the salmon Hermes. He never appeared again after this.
Appearance[]
Zoidberg resembles a typical lobster, albeit in a cartoonish style. He has a long, segmented body covered in small spikes. He has eight legs, two massive claws, and a frilled tail. His entire body is red, which is unlike real lobsters but like the original Zoidberg. His face also resembles the true Zoidberg having four mouth frills and primarily blue eyes.
Personality[]
While Zoidberg has two lines and appears for less than minute, he does still show a personality, mainly in his homicidal tendencies. Despite being aware of the fish's sentience, shown when he responded to Hermes, he doesn't have any qualms in brutally eating them. In fact, his expression before grabbing Hermes would suggest he takes pleasure in his killings. He's also fairly intelligent, as he managed to capture at least two unsuspecting fish.
