~ Logan ending his deal with Molly. |
Logan, also known as Walter Ashe, is a character serving as an antagonist as a zombie, in the fourth episode, "Around Every Corner", of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: Season One. He is a doctor who resides in Crawford and under the command of Crawford Oberson.
He was voiced by Roger L. Jackson, who also voices the Stranger's radio voice in the same game.
Biography
Logan appears in the security tapes that found by Lee. As the hidden security tape reveals, Logan made a deal with Molly, giving her medicine for her diabetic little sister in exchange for sexual intercourse. He eventually ended the deal when Oberson began noticing the discrepancy in meds and feared getting caught. Eventually the residents of Crawford discovered Molly's diabetic sister and took her away, with her illness being deemed a liability to the community.
In the other security tape, he is seen while talking to a woman named Anna Correa. Logan confirms that Anna is pregnant. However, due to the Crawford not allowing children or pregnant women, Logan forces Anna to abort her baby. Anna at first tried to plead with him to keep her pregnancy a secret, but Logan is forced to go ahead and plan the procedure and warns Anna that he'll inform Crawford Oberson if she doesn't show up just as the woman storms out. In the following tape, Logan reveals that Anna either goes through with the abortion or leaves Crawford, which would essentially be a death sentence to both her and her unborn child. Anna begs that Logan help her, but he apologises and proceeds to get some meds to ease the process. Overwhelmed, Anna grabs a scalpel and stabs Logan in the chest, puncturing his lung. Anna then takes the doctor's gun and flees the medical room with gunshots being heard from the distance. Logan then proceeded to remove the tape and tried to hide the tape of his deal with Molly before succumbing to his wound.
Later, when Lee and Molly searching the abandoned Crawford base, Molly encounters the zombified Logan and throws his body off a roof. She desecrated his body with her climbing axe, Hilda, in vengeance of her sister. However, Logan's brain remained intact and he was later finished off by Lee who stomped his head in.
Trivia
- Despite his locker being labelled Logan, his doctor's tag is labelled Walter Ashe. It is unknown which is his real name or why this is the case.
- The name "Dr. Logan" may be a reference or a homage to the character of the same name from George A. Romero's Day of the Dead.
