Loki AKA Kyōichi Takame was one of the Eight Deadly Fists of Ragnarök, holding the place of the fourth fist.

Biography[]

Loki makes his first appearance when Kisara AKA Valkyrie is inducted as the eighth fist. The eight fists are gathered to fight a rival gang of 50 people and Loki, Kisara, and Hermit defeat all of them without any help from the other fists.

After Hermit fails to defeat Kenichi, Loki takes over hunting him and the newly formed Shinpaku Alliance. He arranges a meeting with Niijima at a restaurant where Niijima tries to ambush him, only for Loki to pull an even bigger ambush. The Shinpaku Alliance is outmatched by Loki's forces until Kenichi, Ukita, and Takeda (lured to the restaurant with fake love letters courtesy of Niijima) arrive and defeat his thugs. Kenichi defeats Loki, only to discover it is one of his impersonator Shadows. The real Loki is revealed to be watching footage of the fight to find the Shinpaku Alliance's weakness.

Loki then attempts to team up with the fifth fist Siegfried and while doing so, discovers Niijima spying on them and captures him. Niijima escapes the clutches of his sidekick number 20, but Siegfried chases him down and captures him again. Believing the Shinpaku Alliance's weakness is the lack of loyalty to their leader, Loki attempts to deport Niijima on a cargo ship, but Kenichi and Miu arrive to try and save him. Miu chases after the fleeing Loki and Number 20 to get the location of the ship Niijima is on while Kenichi fights Siegfried. Miu manages to catch Loki, only to discover that he had switched with one of his shadows who doesn't know the location of the ship. Kenichi defeats Siegfried as well, but the latter passes out and the ship carrying Niiijima leaves port. Despite Loki's plan appearing to succeed, it backfires when Niijima eventually returns after some misadventures and Siegfried leaves Ragnarök to go on a training journey after his defeat.

When Hermit returns, Loki discovers he has striked up a friendship with Kenichi's little sister Honoka. He takes Honoka captive to use her against Kenichi and keeps Hermit from interfering by revealing the Great Sage Fist, Ragnarök's benefactor, has given him his authority. Loki contacts Kenichi on the Shinpaku Alliance's new website and reveals he's holding Honoka at an abandoned church. Kenichi is lured to the church where Loki has him fight Hermit. When Kenich gets the upper hand on Hermit, Loki intervenes by revealing he has Honoka at knifepoint. Using Honoka to keep Kenichi from fighting back, Loki personally beats him while Kenichi goes on the defense and endures his attacks. When Honoka is cut while trying to escape, Hermit is reminded of his little sister's death and turns on Loki. He frees Honoka despite getting a stab wound, allowing Kenichi to retaliate against Loki, who kicks Hermit out of Ragnarök for his betrayal. Before Loki can keep fighting, the first fist Odin arrives, and admonishes Loki for lying about having the Great Sage Fist's authority to get Hermit under his command. Humiliated, Loki flees in defeat.

After Ragnarök's many defeats, Loki blames Odin's lack of leadership and conspires to replace him with the second fist Berserker. When the seventh fist Thor is defeated by Kenichi and quits Ragnarök, Loki and the other remaining fists beat on him as punishment, but Thor points out the reason the Shinpaku Alliance keeps winning is because its members are actually friends with real loyalty unlike Ragnarök.

When Ragnarök begins its final attack on the Shinpaku Alliance, Loki attempt his coup to install Berserker as the head of Ragnarök and unveils six new fighters to replace the eight deadly fists. At first it seems Berserker has joined Loki's side, but he reveals he is still loyal to Odin, who warned him of Loki's trickery, and easily defeats him and his new fighters single handedly. Ragnarök is disbanded soon after and Loki ends up being the only former eight fists not to join the Shinpaku Alliance or Yomi. He forms a detective agency with his former shadows and ends up taking jobs from Niijima to investigate Yomi.

Personality[]

Loki is one the more malicious of the eight fists, willing to go use far more underhanded methods to obtain victory. He is willing to kidnap and threaten others, even children, to get what he wants. Unlike the other fists, he has little interest in being the most powerful fighter, preferring to work from behind the scenes and let others do the work. He uses deception, trickery, and manipulation to get what he wants and prefers to fight when he has the advantage.

Abilities[]

  • Karate: When he rarely fights by himself, Loki uses a style of karate that focuses on Spear Hands that use all the joints the arm at once to essentially strike multiple times at once. However, his preference to use trickery makes him a weaker opponent in a direct fight compared to the other fists.
  • Intellect: Loki's greatest asset is his intelligence, making him the greatest tactician among the eight fists. He is skilled in manipulation, surveillance, planning, and using every advantage he can find to further his goals.
