Loki is a major antagonist in One Piece. He is the Prince of the country of Elbaf, home of the Giants, and the son of the late King Harald and younger brother of Prince Hajrudin.

Personality[]

Loki was once revered and beloved by his people, enough that they supported his marriage with Big Mom's daughter, Charlottle Lola. While the marriage was primarily to form an alliance with the Big Mom Pirates, Loki seemed to genuinely love her, as he refused to marry his twin sister in her place when she ended up turning down his proposal.

These days, however, Loki has become feared and repulsed by his people, due to his acts of murdering his father and taking his Devil Fruit. This has led to him being labelled as the Shame of Elbaf and led to his imprisonment, being chained to Elbaf's largest tree. Since then, he has expressed his desire to seemingly to bring the world to its destruction.

Loki also appears to have a low opinion on humans, as his interactions with Luffy suggests that he can't be bothered to remember their names upon introduction, as well as shaming those that decide to follow him. He does however appear to get along with the animals that roam around the mountains, having been fast friends with them since he was a young child.

Trivia[]

Loki is the Giant Prince that Big Mom tried to arrange a marriage to her daughter Lola with. This would ultimately fail and permanently soured Linlin's already reviled reputation with the Giants.
He is named after the Norse God of Mischief and Deception.
Loki murdering his father to acquire a Devil Fruit is identical to Blackbeard murdering Thatch for the Dark Dark Fruit.
He has a bounty of 2,600,000,000 bellies issued by the World Government, making him the most wanted Giant in the world.
