~ Lokog's last words.
Lokog was a Klingon male and an antagonist in the Star Trek: Enterprise novel Tower of Babel.
Even though he was not high-born, Lokog worked hard to build up some wealth and standing within the Empire, hoping to someday parlay his fortune and standing to the point where he could establish his own House. Lokog was one of the Klingons affected by the Qu'vat virus which transformed millions of his fellow Klingons into more human-like QuchHa Klingons. As a result of his transformation Lokog lost much of his wealth and standing in the Klingon Empire. Becoming a privateer he lived on the fringes of the Empire. Obtaining a decommissioned KDF ship, he and his crew preyed on vessels, taking their cargoes and selling their crews into slavery.
Up until 2165 he was content to survive as a privateer until his lover attempted to kill him in his bed, claiming Lokog was a coward who did nothing to fight against the HemQuch majority - those Klingons who had Retaining their cranial ridges and other Klingon features. While defeating her Lokog realized that she had a point, that he was a coward for refusing to fight for his place in the Empire and to regain his lost standing.
Coming across Ware automated technology Lokog was able to construct a large number of drones, which were powered with the bodies of prisoners he had taken. Offering his assistance to the QuchHa' resistance led by Kor, General K'Vagh, and Captain Laneth they managed to destroy a Klingon attack force attacking a QuchHa colony. Meeting with the resistance members he attempted to assault Laneth, but was physically rebuffed by Laneth then attacked by General K'Vagh for trying to force himself on Laneth. During his downtime Lokog passed the time drinking replicated blood wine in a Ware recreation area with his HemQuch friend Korok, who fought alongside Lokog because he felt he had more in common with Lokog then the people running the Empire.
Due to the possession of the Ware drones, the QuchHa were able to put up quite the fight until Section 31 provided the Klingons with a self-destruct code for the Ware. The Klingons were able to shut down the Ware, forcing the QuchHa to fight without Ware assistance. While the QuchHa resistance decided to keep fighting, Lokol fled, leaving the QuchHa to their fate. The other QuchHa' resistance felt they were better off without Lokog's help as he was a coward for fleeing and lost the edge that had made him a Klingon. Lokog was subsequently hunted down and killed by General Ja'rod of the Klingon Defense Force.
Even without the Ware technology, the QuchHa fought hard against the HemQuch oppressors, earning the respect of the newly selected Chancellor Khorkal, who decided to invite the leaders in the disputes between the two groups of Klingons to the council to parlay. Laneth defeated the HemQuch leader B'orel in combat and won the right of the QuchHa to continue living in Klingon space, and gained K'Vagh a seat on the High Council.
