“ | Tad and all the rich kids are coming here to fight Johnny and his boys. All because of me. I'm like Helen of Troy. | „ |
~ Lola admitting to causing a violent fight between the Preps and the Greasers while proudly comparing herself to Helen of Troy. |
Lola Lombardi is a major antagonist in the 2006 video game Bully, serving as one of the secondary antagonists of the third chapter.
She is the ex-girlfriend of Johnny Vincent and the female member of the Greasers clique who has a reputation in Bullworth Academy for trying to seduce many other male students' attention for her personal gain, all while she's dating Johnny.
She was voiced and motion-captured by Phoebe Strole.
Appearance[]
Lola possesses short auburn hair and brown eyes. She defies the school's uniform code, opting instead for a striking ensemble consisting of a snug black leather attire adorned with leopard print, complemented by a vibrant red ribbon tie and a pink crop top revealing her midriff. During colder months, she swaps the crop top for a matching sweater, accessorizing with a red scarf, black boots, and gloves reminiscent of a retro fashion trend from the 1950s. Occasionally, during late hours or early mornings, she can be spotted donning yellow pajamas within the confines of the girls' dormitory. Adding to her unique style, Lola displays a tattoo featuring two cherries on her calf, visible only when she wears her attire for fall, spring, or summer. Notably, she graces the cover of a magazine titled BlaBlaBla, prominently displayed at the Old Bullworth Vale Beauty Salon.
Personality[]
Lola, the girlfriend of Johnny Vincent, is characterized as manipulative, attention-seeking, and promiscuous. She utilizes her physical appearance and sexual confidence to manipulate boys into fulfilling her desires, such as persuading Preppies to purchase items for her and enlisting Nerds to complete her homework. Despite Jimmy's awareness of her manipulative tactics, Lola successfully convinces him to undertake missions and tasks on her behalf. Her dialogue often contains innuendos, exemplified by her description of bike races as being "so... excited."
Because of Lola's promiscuity, she is perceived as easy by the boys and slutty by the girls within the school. Even within her own clique, many Greasers believe she negatively influences Johnny and mistreats him. Students commonly label her as a slut, and in "Finding Johnny Vincent," Norton openly refers to her as a tramp. Lola's desire for attention borders on narcissism, evident in her preference for conversations revolving around herself and her excitement at the prospect of having a stalker.
Numerous rumors circulate about Lola, likely fueled by her promiscuous reputation. Trent alleges that Lola revealed her lack of underwear to him, while Mandy suggests that Lola engages in promiscuous behavior to incite jealousy in Johnny. Conversely, Lefty claims that Lola expressed a desire to join a nunnery after graduation.
Lola harbors disdain and rivalry toward the jock Mandy Wiles, whom she derogatorily labels as a "bitch." This animosity may explain Lola's absence from the cheerleading squad. Additionally, Lola and Pinky engage in immediate conflict due to the longstanding rivalry between the Greasers and Preppies. There are subtle implications that Lola's personality and behavior stem from a nihilistic worldview.
Biography[]
Lola makes her initial appearance during Chapter 1, accompanying Johnny during the mission "Russell in the Hole" and observing Jimmy's altercation with Russell. In Chapter 2, she is briefly spotted waiting in line for the movies with Gord. However, their interaction is cut short when Jimmy steals Gord's bike, prompting him to give chase and leaving Lola disgruntled.
Throughout Chapter 3, Lola's promiscuity becomes the focal point of various events. Jimmy's involvement with Lola begins when Johnny, suspecting her of infidelity with Gord, hires Jimmy to surveil her and gather evidence. Despite being caught, Lola remains undeterred, manipulating Algie into doing her homework and Chad into buying her items. She then instigates conflict between Johnny and Jimmy, orchestrating a bike race which Jimmy wins, and later persuading him to raid the Greasers' hideout to retrieve her belongings. Following these incidents, Lola informs Jimmy of an impending brawl between the Greasers and Preps, chastising him for not participating. After Jimmy seizes control of the Greasers by defeating Johnny and subsequently breaks ties with Lola, he tells Johnny to "keep that slut" if he so desired, although players still have the option to kiss her.
In the Chapter 5 mission "Finding Johnny Vincent," when Johnny goes missing, both Jimmy and Norton approach Lola for information. Lola claims ignorance and reveals that she and Johnny have parted ways. Her demeanor fluctuates rapidly from sorrowful tears to spiteful cruelty, hinting at insincerity in her emotions.
