History[]
"Looker" was one of the original kids who received the A.S.A. vaccine thirty years ago, becoming a metahuman who can control people with a silver metallic substance. Settling in the rural area of South Freeland 30 years ago, she used her abilities to control the Sange (white population of South Freeland), while reducing the Perdi (black population) to a form of slavery.
Deacon (one of the Sange members) had an affair with Anaya (a member of the Perdi) and they had two children, who inherited Looker's psychic powers since she had granted them to Deacon previously. She managed to kidnap the black baby, but also plans to kidnap the white one. As Black Lightning invaded her territory in South Freeland, she managed to incapacitate him and remove his mask, discovering his identity. After an argument over her Confederate flag in her lair, she had her henchmen kill him while she went to kidnap the other baby, but the hero eventually managed to escape. Black Lightning and Thunder were able to defeat her by sending her into a spike that wounded her enough to free the Sange from her control and decided to leave her there for A.S.A. again.
After the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Looker escaped from A.S.A. custody during the Markovian invasion and Tobias Whale later allied with her. She used her abilities to control FBI Special Agent Kevin Mason into accusing Jefferson Pierce of embezzlement. Upon finding out about her involvement, Jefferson told Painkiller to bring her in alive. Looker is defeated by Painkiller where Khalil gives her half of the antidote in exchange for returning to Freeland and confessing to Tobias Whale's plot. Ishmael was dispatched to eliminate Painkiller and Looker. After Painkiller killed Ishmael by putting his poison on the hilt of Ishmael's sword, Khalil handed Looker over to Detective Hassan Shakur and Kevin Mason while giving them the rest of the anti-poison to use on Looker.
