Lord Elius is a minor antagonist in the Roblox game Arcane Odyssey.
He is a member of the Ravenna Realm's nobility, and sought to join the Order of Aesir, like his older sister. He helped Order Baron General Argos with his mission, resulting in his confrontation with the player.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Elius was born the son of Lord Ulricus of Ravenna, making him a part of the nation's aristocracy. He and his old sister, Carina, became famed for their strength, fitting for the children of Ravenna's top bounty hunter. At some point in time, Carina joined the Order of Aesir, a shadowy group that Ravenna's ruler, Calvus IV, led. Eager to join, Elius got his chance when Calvus began hunting for the Death Curse.
Hunt for the Death Curse[]
Calvus would eventually find a lead in the form of Beringer, the current Cloud Curse user. Under the supervision of General Argos, he commanded a small group of Order Initiates and infiltrated the sky islands, capturing Beringer. While Argos removed him to Fort Talos, Elius and half the initial group remained in the Djin Ruins to secure the area and remove any evidence, especially when it began to become clear that someone was after them.
While waiting in the ruins, Elius realised there was someone behind him, coming face to face with the Player, who had dismantled his group. He revealed the Order's surface level intentions, only to realise he had said too much. He fought with the Player, unleashing the full power of his Lightning Magic to the point that it influenced the weather, but was ultimately defeated. He revealed all he knew about Beringer to them, as well as the Order's plans and details on the Sea Curses. He would later get hunted down by the Order for his defeat or get killed by the Player.
Legacy[]
Using his information, the Player raided Fort Talos, and though they could not save Beringer, they managed to kill Argos. While in Ravenna, they encountered Lady Carina, whom they also defeated. His father would also stop the search for Privateer Arwald, despite the growing threat he presented, in order to search for his two children.
Trivia[]
- Elius is unique in that his fate is decided by the player. The choice made will affect their mentality, which will affect whether they kill or leave Carina to die.
- He is distantly related to King Calvus, being the son of Calvus' cousin.
- Elius is considered by the game a sharp difficulty increase in order to prepare them for the later bosses. However, he is considered by most to be the hardest boss in the game, as such doing a rather poor job of it.
