Biography[]
Background[]
Some time ago, he was feeling overwhelmed by the past due to a thorn that hurt him from within. In a attempt to try to calm down, he kidnaps Fairy Martina, keeping her strong thanks to Captain Needle's memories.
El Angel en el Reloj[]
When Captain Needle and Amelia arrive to the Fields of the Past, he wakes up at the boy's call.
He tells him that he longed to see him, and when Captain Needle asked about Martina, he adds that he will return for her. He shows him the fairy under his control, telling him that she has been waiting for him for many years, searching through her memories for the hope of seeing him again.
When the boy tries to free his friend, he tells him it's useless because she's trapped in her memories and it's all his fault, and she can't be hurt.
He grows vines to try to catch Captain Needle, and at the boy's skill, he shouts that he warned him, turning his blue light red. He manages to immobilize him, and when Amelia tells him that he can't force Martina to stay with him, he answers that she gives him the memories he needs to be calm, and she doesn't need anything else. When Amelia emphasizes that it is not okay, he asks her the reason since she is happy in there.
When Needle says that memories are not real, he asks Martina if she is happy. At the positive answer, he shouts that then they will all stay with him, and thus, they will know the difference between imperfect reality and the sweetness of memories.
He tries to catch Amelia and Malachi, but fails. When the girl gets up, she sees that the giant has a huge thorn embedded in him that corrupts him. With the help of her angel, they manage to remove it so that he returns to normal.
Thus, he frees Martina and Captain Needle. He looks joyful as the two friends hug each other. He tells them that it was a thorn that reminded him of pain. Seeing Martina, he tells her that he wanted her to find in him the reasons to have hope, but he failed. The giant releases a tear into the water, which restores the flora of his world.
As the team leaves for the Palace of Cycles, he tells them to go and find new memories.
