Lorenzo Carvahal and Diaz Arnesto are two minor antagonists of the 2011 French-British animated film The Prodigies. They are psychopathic German criminals responsible for the sexual assault of Liza Everton. They are the main cause for why Gil Yepes and his three friends became murderous vigilantes in the first place.
Lorenzo was voiced by August Diehl in Amazon Studios's English dub, Rene Rosado in American English, and Cédric Dumond in French, alongside being portrayed by Alain Figlarz in motion capture. Diaz was voiced by Alexander Fehling in Amazon Studios's English dub, Benjamin Diskin (who also voiced Morbius in Ultimate Spider-Man, Harm and Ma'alefa'ak in Young Justice, Venom in The Spectacular Spider-Man, The Leader in Marvel Future Avengers, and Rhino in Marvel Heroes) in American English, and Pascal Nowak in French, alongside being portrayed by Patrick Vo in motion capture.
Biography[]
Lorenzo and Diaz first appears in their car watching Liza Everton on stage in the parking lot talking about how beautiful she is and calming she could be theirs, They then arrive in Central Park, seeing Gil, Liza, Harry, Sammy and Lee there, They tried to attempt harm Liza and Lee with Lorenzo attempt to kiss Liza, but Sammy stops him but gets beaten up. Gil, Lee and Liza tried to make their escape, but Gil falls down and gets kicked in the face by Diaz crying down to the ground after getting kicked and Diaz slaps Lee multiple times, They then race down to Liza at near down the entrance of the Central Park bridge, Liza tried to make her clear escape, but gets caught by Diaz before being assaulted by Lorenzo. Finding the four teens knocked unconscious and noticing Liza's telepathic pain, he and his followers drove the German thugs by using their psychic powers. The next day, to preserve the show "American Genius", Melanie Killian covers up the crime by claiming Liza Everton had been injured in a hit-and-run accident, something that enrages Jimbo. Following being fired due to this, he talks to Fozzie in his office about what to do about them and the system. Later on, when the four teenagers entered Killian University that night, finding information on Jimbo's thoughts about his past. The mention of this allowed the teens to band together to avenge their allies. To do this, the teens use their abilities to control Diaz by using his left hand into crashing his car, killing him. An injured Lorenzo gets out of the vehicle, but through Gil and his three friends' psychic powers, they use Diaz's corpse to attack him, and then control Lorenzo's injured body shortly afterwards, eventually leaving him on a Brooklyn train track only to be ran over by a train injuring his left foot and mutilating his entire head leaving only his headless dead body on the Brooklyn train track and falling down beneath the Brooklyn train tracks.
