Lorna is the main antagonist of Terrible Mouse, a chinese, dark, internet animated series made by Gutian.
Biography[]
Once a laboratory test subject, she was originally a mouse who underwent severe and traumatic experiments. After a fire broke out in the lab, she managed to escape. Witnessing the brutal deaths of her fellow lab mice, especially one that was dissected alive in front of her, left Lorna with deep psychological scars and an intense hatred for humans particularly children. Following her escape, Lorna was mutated into a hybrid between a mouse and a cat. Despite her appearance and occasionally sweet demeanor, she is a sadistic and violent individual. She works at the Hospital, where she poses as a doctor, luring children inside only to torture and murder them. Her actions are often masked by false kindness and manipulated emotions. She’s shown to act regretful or innocent after causing harm, though this seems to be a deceptive part of her cruel nature.
Physically, Lorna has yellow sclera, black irises, and white pupils. Her hair is light yellow and styled in two low buns. She has sharp claws that emerge when she becomes aggressive, and her teeth are razor sharp. She has several distinct outfits, including a short doctor’s gown with a dark red cross, a soft pink dress for her room attire, and a black and red uniform bearing the insignia of the mysterious organization called Bloodbath, of which she is a member.
Despite her hostility toward most humans, she seems to have a strong attachment to the Hospital Owner perhaps the only person she trusts. Her affection is evident in several scenes, including one where she runs joyfully toward him and hugs him, knocking him over.
Lorna is highly agile and physically strong, capable of wielding heavy tools like chainsaws and guns. She also demonstrates advanced combat skills, as seen when she uses martial arts techniques to overpower her victims.
Her most notable kills include characters like Roth, Nana, and an unnamed girl all of whom suffer brutal and creative deaths at her hands. Although Damm's death isn't shown on screen, it's implied she killed him as well. In a twist of irony, Lorna also works at a candy store in an unknown future episode, showing another layer of her double life. Her character is believed to have been inspired by Rinny from Pretty Blood, though unlike Rinny apart from who targets malinois she has no motive to commit his crimes, Lorna preys on innocent humans, especially children apart from the fact that even if it doesn't justify anything, it does have a reason.
She is widely considered the mascot of the Terrible Mouse series and appears in both the old and new logos. Within the extended universe (Escape from This Place), she once held a position of power as the hospital owner, though this role was later replaced.
Though Lorna is one of the most iconic and feared characters in the series, it’s noted that she might actually be the weakest among the Hospital’s staff. Her sadistic tendencies, history of trauma, and unpredictable nature make her a deeply complex and disturbing character.
