Loth, known as Halfbreed, is a minor antagonist in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt expansion Blood and Wine. He is the leader of one of the criminal Hansa in Toussaint and one of the three public enemies of the Ducal Guard of Toussaint.
Biography[]
Loth was born as half human, half elf, the son of Marc. At one time he became the leader of his criminal hansa, which is considered the most dangerous in Toussaint and poses a significant threat to travelers, knights and the inhabitants of Toussaint themselves. His base for his Hanseatic League lies in an underground cave near the village of Fuchstal north of Toussaint. Due to the huge recognition among the inhabitants of Toussaint, Loth sent several of his own to terrorize and murder weaker people around, and in order not to feel threatened, he also ordered the attack on the village of Fuchstal.
After conquering the village of Fuchstal, his Hansa established various camps near certain settlements, regions and roads. When one of the knights-errant decided to fight the Hansa Loth, he manages to kill 6 of his men, which causes Loth to order the kidnapping of the knight-errant and takes Edgar Ciseaudoigts to his prisoner, who brutally tortures him to death.
Despite the power of the Hansa Loth, he is going through a huge crisis because the cook from his Hansa is incompetent and has prepared unpalatable food that most members of the Hansa Loth have stomach problems and diarrhea. This makes Loth, in order to solve the problem with his cooking, decide to kidnap a real and competent cook, for this reason his Hansa attacked the Basilisk tavern and kidnapped the local cook.
Some time later, Geralt, who came to Toussaint to kill The Beast of Toussaint, takes over the task of fighting criminal hansas, including the Loth hansa. When Geralt finds the base of Loth's Hansa, he kills its members, meets Loth himself and then confronts him in a fight that ends with Loth's death.
