~ Lotos challenges Rock to battle in his dragon form. |
Lotos is a minor antagonist in Mega Man by Ruby-Spears, appearing as the main antagonist of the episode Master of Disaster. He is an evil genie who was trapped in a golden chest.
Lotos appears to be voiced by Garry Chalk.
Characteristics[]
Personality[]
Despite being true to his word, Lotos is actually very dangerous with his powers. This caused a peasant who used Lotos' power to become a raja to seal him away.
Physical Appearance[]
Lotos has three forms that he can shift in between: a cycloptic humanoid form, a dragon form, and a small ball of light. All three of his forms are capable of flying. His humanoid form is legless and has a muscular upper half with four (sometimes five) fingers on each hand and a single eye and a ghostly tail. His dragon form is his true form and is the only form that one can defeat him in and has seven heads that have red eyes and whose mouths can shoot orange fire. Lotos can speak through his central head in his dragon form. Lotos' light ball form is a form that's only used in emergencies, such as when one beats his dragon form and he needs to recuperate. Lotos cannot speak in his light ball form. His voice sounds deep and appears to have an echo.
History[]
According to the legends, Lotos was called upon by a peasant. True to his word, Lotos gave the peasant great wealth. This allowed them to become a powerful raja. However, the peasant found Lotos to be very dangerous despite him being the reason behind their new power, so they sealed his spirit in the chest again.
In the present, Rock, Roll, and Doctor Thomas Right would find the tablets that revealed where Lotos was supposedly trapped during a tour with another man who was exploring the place, much to their awe. However, Doctor Wily and his goons had followed the heroes' trail and are now going to use that to their advantage. Despite his best efforts, Rock cannot stop Wily's theft of the tablets, and Wily uses them to find Lotos' hiding place. Lotos is then released and pledges his allegiance to Wily, who requests that Lotos kills the heroes, who manage to escape.
Later, Lotos uses his powers to bring various things to life in New York City, turning it into Wily's fortress. Rock and his friends retreat to Light Labs, finding out that Lotos can transform into a seven-headed dragon, and can only be beaten while he is in that form. Rock, with that knowledge, heads out with his stealth suit to stop Lotos, taunting him, and an outraged Lotos assumes his draconic form. Although he manages to pin Rock against the wall with fire, he is defeated with a charged shot to belly, his weak point. Screaming in pain, Lotos assumes his light ball form, retreats to his chest, and shuts himself away to recuperate, much to Wily's dismay. Rock then returns to bring the chest back to the man who led the tour to ensure that Lotos cannot be freed from his chest again.
