Louis Darnell is the deuteragonist of the TV series Get Shorty.
He is a sociopathic debt collector who works for Amara together with his partner Miles Daly.
He has a different and very particular extravagant personality. He is often cowardly but kills very easily and without batting an eyelid.
He has no problem eliminating other people's lives. He is ready to eliminate even people he feels sympathy for. He has a particular and bizarre attitude but a good intelligence and an excellent perception for the things around them.
He is played by Sean Bridgers who has brought other roles such as Old Nick in Room, Chris Cleek in The Woman and Tommy Cole in The Best of Me.
Biography[]
He appears with Miles while he goes to collect Owen's debts. After talking to an actor looking for work, they go to Owen who begs them not to kill them and tells them that he can pay Amara with his bored script.
However, Louis annoys him while he was talking to Miles, the latter gets angry and the two bury him.
After going to Yago for the work done, the latter argues with Miles and scared Louis takes him away, shortly after Miles tries to create a film so financed by Amara the two go to Los Angeles initially it was unsafe but Louis decides to go and help him however not having few problems with Miles.
After meeting Rick a screenwriter, Louis passes himself off as the writer of the screenplay and together with Miles as a producer they manage to make a contract with an important company for 30 million Louis becomes an associate and Amara enters the agreement as a financier.
