Louisa May Alcott was the main tactician of The Guild and an antagonist in the anime and manga series Bungo Stray Dogs. She is a direct reference to the American author with the same name.
She was voiced by Hikaru Ueda in Japanese and Erica Mendez (who also voiced Hao Asakura in Shaman King) in English.
Personality[]
Louisa is very shy, introverted and suffers from social anxiety. She freaks out when anyone other than Francis talks to her, even if it's just a polite "hello" in the hallway, and even when it's Francis she seems to be somewhat on edge. In support of this, her power only works when she is alone in a room with no one bothering her.
The only loyalties she has shown have been to Francis. Presumably, everything she does is to help him achieve his goals. She displays minimal care for the lives of other people when writing plans that involve the destruction of an entire city, yet she has no combat ability, nor has she witnessed any violence first-hand.
She is extremely smart, yet she lacks confidence in her ability despite being the sole tactician. She's visibly worried whenever Francis reads over her plans.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Little Women: The special ability of Louisa. This ability allows her to slow time down to 1/8000th the normal speed for herself, but only when alone in a room she can work in. This ability allows her to think and write at superhuman speeds, creating stacks of plans and backup plans in minutes.
- Enhanced Intelligence: She is a brilliant tactician. She has been shown to be able to accurately predict the actions of both the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia despite not even having met them.
With her intelligence and her power, she can write plans for every likely scenario as to keep the Guild one step ahead of its enemies.
