Lourdes Padilla is the overarching antagonist of the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode "Once Upon a Time in El Barrio". She is the head of a bogus modeling agency in Mexico which is a front for a sex trafficking ring which she operates with her brother Jorge Padilla.
She was portrayed by Gabriela Garcia.
Biography[]
Lourdes Padilla runs a bogus modeling agency which acts as the front for a sex trafficking ring, trafficking girls from Mexico to America where she has her brother, Jorge deal with the girls from there: Jorge being the one who forces them into prostitution and keeping them in line. SVU investigates the ring's activities after Jorge murders one of the trafficked girls. The police in Mexico investigate as well and end up arresting Lourdes.

Lourdes is a manipulative, greedy, and wicked individual who tricks numerous girls into sex trafficking without remorse, having her brother sell them into prostitution.
