Lt. Japther is a minor antagonist from Metal Armor Dragonar.
Appearance[]
Lt. Japther is a buff man with black hair, a mustache, and a beard. He primarily dresses in Green.
Biography[]
Having captured Kaine, Light, and Tapp after they've passed out from a lack of oxygen. He had their hands and feet bound together. He also realizes that the Metal Armors they were in wasn't on his list. When Kaine thinks they became important people, he fired a warning shot at him. He also wasn't expecting the Dragonars to appear either. He later contacts the Giganos Empire to notify them that he has the Dragonars and their pilots in his clutches. He then tells them to repair and refill the Metal Armors with their hands tied. He realizes that he cannot pilot the Dragonars as they were tie to their respective pilots. He calls humans and robots untrustworthy. When Kaine blows his gun out of his hand. He retrieves it and retreats. They proceed to pursue him but he ultimately gains the upper hand on Kaine when he disarms him, saying that those foolish enough to rush in like in are "folly runners" and only a good soldier would think of survival. He tells Kaine to be a good prisoner. He is quickly fired at by Tapp and Light, forcing him to retreat again. Upon being cornered by Light, Kaine, and Tapp, he fired to shut doors behind them. When his gun was rendered too dangerous to use, he resorted to martial arts. After being pelted by cans and plates, he demanded a ceasefire. He then prepared a meal, but then told then they cannot be too careful. Upon seeing one of the Giganos Metal Armors, he tells them the ceasefire ends now and binds their hands. When the Giganos squadron Bladis consisting of Carl Gecken (A supervisor sent by Meio Plato and the Marshal), Tan Gligal, and Weckly Bulli (Black hair) arrive. Carl Gecken comments on the oily food Japther eats. The Lieutenant says that the Dragonar pilots are not related to them. Kaine then realizes that the pilots were enemies he, Light, and Tapp fought before and they've captured the Itanbul and its occupants. When Japther still insisted on turning his captives over himself, Tan shoots him, saying that the Marshal's edict is that Meio is to capture them. When the Giganos pilots leave, Japther uses the last of his strength to free the prisoners before succumbing to his wounds. After the Metal Armor battle, the Dragonar pilots give Japther a funeral where they put his body in a space capsule and send it off into space.
