Luca Silvestri (1978 - 2008) is a minor antagonist in the 2008 video game Grand Theft Auto IV. He is a soldier of the Pegorino Crime Family who betrays the latter and steals their already stolen diamonds.
He was voiced by Robert Kelly.
Personality[]
Not much is known about Luca's personality. He is seen as mostly cocky, choosing his own personal desires over other's. He steals from the people close to him, and when confronted would rather kill the people he betrayed. Once Niko Bellic points a gun at him, that's when Luca acts cowardly and selfless, showing his more manipulative side of himself.
Biography[]
Pre-2008[]
Luca Silvestri was born in 1978 in Alderney City, Alderney. At the age of 15, Luca joined the Pegorino Crime Family, becoming close friends with well-known mobster, Ray Boccino. Around this time, he became known for killing people and stealing. It is also heavily implied that Luca is an actual waste collector.
Events in Grand Theft Auto IV[]
After Johnny Klebitz of the Lost MC steals the diamonds from Tony Prince and Luis Lopez, Luca is ordered by Ray to collect the diamonds in various trash bags in Algonquin. Luca is assigned to do the job along with the families' gun-for-hire, Niko Bellic along with Luca's personal gang including, Joseph DiLeo and Johnny Barbosa. During their trip, they fend off various of Gay Tony's associates. Soon after, Luca, Johnny and Joey betray both the Family and Ray, as they all steal the diamonds for themselves in order to move to Las Venturas. Niko chases them down, killing Joey and Johnny before finding Luca in a bathroom stall, Luca begs for his life, only for him to be killed.
