Luciase is the main antagonist, along with Diederich Bellerose, of Season 1 of gaming/fantasy webcomic Winter Moon.
He is a creator and Guild Master of Corpse Harvest, a powerful player-killing guild in Magnolia Online. After a rival guild, Winter Moon, burnt his Guild Hall to the ground, he orchestrated his vengeance on them, which caused the massive battle on Whitehaven Tournament and eventually led to closing the first game.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Luciase is a son of members of a rich elite in Snow City. He was bullied at school, which left him bitter. Because of Augustus Albright's plot, he started playing online MMORPG game named Magnolia Online and received an Artifact of Death. He eventually created Corpse Harvest, one of the most notorious player-killing guild in game.
Season 1[]
Luciase first appears outside of his Guild Hall, accompanied by Zachary and his bodyguards while killing other players. He is approached by Risa Bellerose and manipulated by her to let her join the guild.
Luciase meets Florence de Beaumont, Gideon and Katja while they are robbing his vault. The four start to fight and Luciase is eventually defeated by Florence, Gideon and Risa, who betrayed him.
Enraged by lost of the Guild Hall and his defeat, Luciase plans a vengeance on Winter Moon, along with Lilith. They attack Whitehaven Tournament during the final fight between Risa and Diederich Bellerose. When the massive battle starts, Luciase fights Florence and Diederich. The battle is interrupted when Augustus arrives and, disappointed in players' behaviour, destroys the game and kills all the players by dropping the Moon on them.
Season 2[]
According to Lilith, Luciase stopped playing Magnolia Online after the Tournament and his guild was disbanded.
Season 4[]
Luciase, who started playing game again, is summoned by Augustus into World End's Cathedral, where the base of Ministry of Light is located. After Luciase declines Augustus' offer to work with him, God of the Game takes his Artifact of Death from him and gives it to Etheria. Luciase is then dropped into Deadwood Zone.
After Diederich is also de-powered by Augustus and dropped into the same zone, they meet each other and complain on Ministry of Light taking over the game. He also informs Diederich about Winter Moon's plan to start a war with MOL and destroy it.
Abilities[]
- Artifact of Death: One of the few Artifacts of the game, Luciase received it from Augustus Albright. It allows him to summon powerful corpses and skeletons who always have the same strenght, no matter his game level. This power was later took from him by Augustus and passed to Etheria.
- Necromancy: As a Necromancer class, Luciase is able to summon undead and control them. This ability is significantly weaker than before after his loss of Artifact of Death.

Trivia[]
- Despite being the main antagonist of the Season 1, he had a rather small role overall. This may change in the ongoing Season 5.
- His name is a Spanish plural for "pike".
