Lucie Jurin is the villainous main protagonist in Martyrs.

She was portrayed by Mylène Jampanoï.

Biography

Martyrs

In the past, Lucie has been abused and kept as a slave inside of a slaughterhouse, by the wife & husband of the Belfond Family. She managed to escape the slaughterhouse, and she got placed inside of a orphanage, where she met her friend Anna Assaoui. Lucie has been supposedly possessed by a disfigured woman, which only she sees and feels her presence, while Anna always comforted her over it.

After fifteen years later, the Belfond Family is seen having breakfast, with their children older son, and younger daughter. Lucie ends up busting inside of their house with a gun. She kills firstly the father and the mother, and then proceeded to kill the children. She asks the son if he knew what his parents were doing, and he kept silent until she shot him. The daughter went under the bed, crying until Lucie found her and shot her as-well. Anna finds out about this, and they meet inside of the families house. Anna barfs once she saw the dead bodies.

During the film, scenes of the disfigured woman appear, supposedly trying to kill Lucie, and scenes of the past are shown, how the mother and father of the kids abused Lucie, and tortured her. Anna ends up finding out that the mother is still alive, and Anna tries to help the mother recover, until Lucie saw them and brutally killed the mother. Until the disfigured woman appeared, smacking Lucie's head against the wall, while Anna sees only Lucie. The disfigured woman only exists in Lucie's head. Because of this, Lucie gives up and ends up killing herself because of the unstoppable haunting's of the woman, letting Anna stay all by her self.

As the movie goes on, it's revealed that there actually was a locked up woman living in the house, Anna tried to help her get free but instead, she gets shot, as Anna gets presented to the leader of this whole construction:Mademoiselle, who is leading her secret society seeking secrets of afterlife. The deceased bodies get buried all together, while the family got a new couple living in it. While Anna replaces the shot woman, and the couple starts abusing Anna.

Anna ends up getting into the transcendent state, and tells Mademoiselle what she saw. Movie ends with the Mademoiselle committing suicide.
