Biography[]
Lore[]
Count Lucien Degas lived a life of extravagant magnificence in Paris during the dark violent years of the French Revolution. However, at night, he, as the enigmatic Highwayman, and his group prowled the roadways, mercilessly preying on passing motorists. That is, up until a 100,000 franc bounty was placed on his gang's head. Subsequently, Lucien elevated his deputy and submitted them all to get the prize. Anyhow, he'd always hated sharing his spoils with underlings.
Indeed, The Highwayman rose to fame as a figure of legendary fear during his solo career. He tried his hand at every kind of crime, depending only on his own extraordinary speed and merciless willpower to finance his opulent lifestyle. Nothing was too big for Lucien, not even horse assassination, bank heisting, race-fixing, or art counterfeiting. He caused so much destruction that his name came to represent violence and avarice.
Lucien is still plotting to get power and gold in Valhalla. He will do all it takes to win since he knows that the tournament is the best opportunity to acquire power in this place.
Gameplay[]
With a strength of three, Lucien is among the legends with the lowest physical strength in the game. Nonetheless, he has several quite powerful signature techniques, and some of his attack patterns are excellent at confusing opponents. Always be moving: Lucien's lightning-fast reflexes are great for both avoiding hostile opponents and applying pressure to persistent ones. While blasters work well for both offense (light attacks) and defense (punishing careless opponents), katars are better at navigating the battlefield and should be utilized exclusively for offense.
