Lucius is a supporting antagonist in the 2010 action-roleplaying video game Fallout: New Vegas. He is a veteran soldier of Caesar's Legion who was appointed as the commander of Caesar (born Edward Sallow)'s Praetorian Guard in 2267. Since then, he has become known for his ruthless nature in dealing with assassination attempts on Caesar's life. Despite him approaching his older years, he is still a deadly opponent, although Caesar himself suspects that the only reason he has won every election for a new Praetorian leader is because of his opponents backing down out of a mixture of fear and respect.
He was voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, who also provided the male Courier's pain and grunt sounds.
Fallout: New Vegas[]
Lucius is introduced during the first meeting between Caesar and the Courier at The Fort as Caesar's deadly, ruthless Praetorian Guard commander. He is said the be the one who tortured Benny for the Platinum Chip, a device which contained a program that could upgrade Mr. House's Securitron army. The bunker which housed the terminal that the Chip required to complete the enhancement was located nearby, so Caesar gives it to the Courier to override the terminal and destroy the Securitrons, which would weaken House.
Later, Caesar reveals to the Courier that he has a brain tumor which must be extracted before it can progress to non-curability. He then tasks them with performing an operation which will save his life. If the Courier fails or murders him during the extraction, Lucius will confront them and attack if he is not persuaded to believe it was incidental.
