~ Luminark threatens Stromedy

Luminark is the main antagonist of Stromedy's Missing Brothers Series

He is the head of Luminark Legion and the kidnapper of Ethan And Dawson Godfrey

Biography[]

While not shown in the first episode, he has an influence. Kyle goes to explore an alleged cursed sewage system with his brothers, but his brothers mysteriously end up missing, all Kyle heard was them screaming about somebody in the tunnel and wanting to get out away from their stalker; but the brothers were never seen again, thus leading to the events in the videos.

Episode 2[]

While Stromedy goes back to the tunnel with his friends, he is anticipating his brothers will be there, but they encounter a massive flash flood, forcing them out. It's unclear if this flood was set by Luminark as a trap or if it's simply due to the unstability of the sewage system. However, Stromedy and his friends escape, but find a mysterious symbol LL on the tunnel walls and floor, daubed in green paint.

Episode 3[]

Stromedy finds his channel has been hacked and notices one user by the name of "Luminark Legion" has been repeatedly commenting on his videos, threatening that soon Stromedy will be "no more". Curious about who Luminark is, Stromedy accesses his videos and sees a creepy guy in a mask, threatening him. Stromedy tries unveiling Luminark's identity, leading to the ongoing investigation about who Luminark is.

Episode 4[]

Kyle and his friends track Luminark to an abandoned mineshaft not far from where they are. They get there late afternoon and find a trap set by the same masked Luminark guy. They manage to locate Luminark, and chase him, but lose sight of him in the woods. When they get home they find Luminark had broken into their flat and eerily taken photos of Kyle (Stromedy) and his girlfriend Jana, as well as his friends, when they wrere sleeping. No longer feeling safe in his house, Stromedy calls police, but the police are suspiciously nonchalant and useless. They leave promising to investigate further if Luminark steps up, and steps up Luminark does indeed. Luminark is caught spying on the squad outside their front door, and Kyle chases him into the back yard behind his house but loses Luminark in the confusion, as Luminark throws down garbage to obstruct Kyle and his friends.

Episode 5[]

Desperate for Luminark not to get any more attention, Kyle has put up misisng persons photos of his brothers round town, taking matters into his own hands. He noticed a homeless man they'd interacted with seemed suspiciously involved, and true to form caught the homeless man with Luminark's ominous allies breaking into Kyle's flat, stealing all their furniture. Luminark left a mocking video claiming soon, Stromedy's house will belong to him. Kyle sees Luminark in his backyard, and tries negotiating with him, demanding for his brother's location and safety, but Luminark flees deeper into the backyard. Then, Stromedy steps up and hires the two previously mentioned shady "cops" to interview the homeelss guy; the cops mysteriously zoom off once getting the homeless man as if all were in it together, leaving Stromedy and his friends to look for Luminark, who had stolen their lamborghini car keys. Following the trail to an isolated trailer; Stromedy and his friends enter, but find a mocking note from Luminark, who slams the door on them, leaving them temporarily trapped.

Episode 6[]

Locked inside the abandoned trailer; Kyle and his friends fruitlessly try breaking doors and windows and reach a sort of morose acceptance of their confinement and how it was all down to their stupidity. Suddenly, Luminark's voice comes on the tannoy, congratulating them for making his channel a success. He wants them to do a collaborator video with the Luminark Legion, filming it from inside the trailer, and if Stromedy does it in a cheery willing manner than Luminark will release them. Kyle complies, anticipating release. He does the video in a deliberately over-the-top mannerism; capturing his Stromedy essence. Then, the video done, he demands Luminark to release them. A little too suspiciously easy, the doors swing open, and the group are allowed to finally leave the trailer, Jana wincing as the bright sunlight hits her. She and the others leave, but David notices a laptop on a table outside, eerily sitting empty in the snow. Luminark had been filming them and recording them from his laptop. Kyle's friends grab the laptop and flee. Upon returning to their car; however, they find it stolen by Luminark. A shady man rescues them and takes them into town, however he is soon revealed to be a Luminark ally himself. Back at home, finally, Kyle and his friends find all five of their expensive cars stolen by Luminark! They track down the shipment place and arrive to ambush Luminark, aided by another friend of theirs. As they plan to finally ambush Luminark, he notices and flees, refusing to surrender. Kyle and his friend climb up on the truck's flatbed; with Kyle actually getting back into his old car, as Jana and the others drive behind. Kyle mutters about how he's going to keep recording even stuck in the back of his own car; and suddenly, Luminark himself appears, yanks open the car boot, and punches Stromedy into unconsciousness. For now, Luminark has won again but his ultimate fate - victory or defeat - will be spelled out in the upcoming episodes.

Episode 7[]

Luminark splits up the group, taking Kyle to New Jersey backwoods, where Kyle awakens, disoriented, confused, and lost. He manages to make it home, his friends demanding answers. When they trace Luminark's signal to a downtown Toronto building after he hacks the channel and delivers an ultimatum: subscribe to Luminark Legion or he will no longer be nice, Kyle and his friends head to the Toronto tower. Inside, they get help from a janitor about accessing the locked room Luminark used, room 213. Inside, they find mountains of evidence detailing Luminark's master plan, which involves kidnapping Jana. Jana tries breaking into Luminark's safe but cannot figure out the correct number - it must be related to the Stromedy Squad but every option they choose fails. Eventually, Jake tries to figure it out - the names correspond to phone numbers on a keypad system, so letters in the group's names become the numbers - J, Jake for 5 - A, for David's second letter, for 2, K, as in Jake, for 5 and the E in Jake equalling 3. Eventually, they figure that the number code is 5253, and it works. Inside the safe, they find Luminark's mask and hoody looking back at them, thus meaning Luminark now looks ordinary and is not in disguise any more, making him more dangerous. They see Luminark watching them from across the street and chase him through the city, trapping him in a subway. Entering after him, he loses them. As Kyle and Jana debate, and David checks under cars, Luminark sprints out and they chase him up to a stairway. Kyle admits his phone camera died, and could no longer record. On the subway, trying to find Luminark, Luminark bursts in and drags Jana out. He then sends David a threatening message to come alone to Luminark's HQ if they want Jana back.
