|“||Once the girl is gone, Caelin is mine. I will let no one stand in my way!||„|
|“||Have you lost all hope? Has your life lost all meaning? Then hurry up and die, you miserable old dotard! You and your precious granddaughter are in my way!!! I curse your name! I despise you! My worthless wretch of a brother!||„|
|~ Lundgren to Hausen.|
Lundgren is a major antagonist in Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, being the main antagonist of Lyn's story. He is the younger brother of Hausen and the great uncle of Lyn.
Lundgren is a old man with grey hair, wrinkles near his eyes, a sharp nose, and a large chin. Lundgren wears purple armor with a white cape.
Before the events of Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade, Hausen's daughter, Madelyn, gives birth to a child named Lyn. Due to her being next-in-line for the throne of Caelin, her existence angers Lundgren. Madelyn later decides to leave Caelin with her daughter to live with her husband Hassar in the Sacaen plains, which they existed peacefully until they were both killed by bandits hired by a newly-crowned Lundgren, being one of the first things he does after taking power over an ailing Hausen.
Lundgren first appears in Chapter 2, where a Caelin soldier informs him that Lyn survived. Lundgren is annoyed by this fact, and he demands she be killed at soon as possible. He next appears in Chapter 5, informing that Lyn and her allies is crossing the border to Araphen to meet Marquess Araphen. Here, Lundgren decides to send some of his soldiers to Araphen in hopes to finish her off there.
In Chapter 9, Lundgren checks up on his brother and tells him that Lyn with be killed, despite the fact Hausen only wishes to see his granddaughter one last time before he dies. However, Lundgren instead demands him to die and also tells him how much he hates him so much for standing his way to the throne. His final appearance appears in the following chapter, to which he makes his final stand against Lyn and her forces, to which he fails and is slain.
|“||Heh heh heh. Soon... Soon Caelin will be mine!||„|
|“||The royal house of Caelin has no need of a Sacaen mongrel! I'll put an end to this foolishness here and now!||„|
|“||Ah, Sain... You're not like that stubborn fool, Kent. You're reasonable. Leave this child, Lyndis, and stand at my side. You will go far in my service.||„|
|“||You're a fool! You'll wish you'd never turned your coat!||„|
|“||That annoying little girl... nothing but a savage from Sacae... the Caelin throne... should be... mine...||„|
