Luro 'Taralumee is a major antagonist in Halo Legends and the main antagonist of Halo Legends: The Package. He was the Supreme Commander of the Third Fleet of Glorious Consequence in the Covenant Empire during the Human-Covenant war. He sent regular status reports to the Vice Cleric of Zeal.
History[]
After the Battle of Miridem in 2544, Luro's fleet captured Dr. Catherine Halsey while she was cryogenically frozen. However, magnetic interference prevented them from jumping to Slipspace. He realized that the UNSC (United Nations Space Command) would come after her and created decoy beacons from antimatter charges aboard his ships.
John 117 led a team of Spartans against Luro and his fleet, with the mission of rescuing Halsey. One of the ships was set off when one of the Spartans fell for Taralumee's trap, then the team found the Flagship and infiltrated it.
Luro ordered an unnamed Bridge Officer for the section of the ship to be detached and said the Covenant forces will die with honor. He claimed his Major (who defeated John and was about to kill him along with Halsey)'s path was rather death or Arbiter. The Major has sucked into the ship thanks to a gravity lift which saved the two humans and it was most likely the Supreme Commander was punished after he retreated.
