~ Wyatt's tirade during her arrest |
Wyatt had too aunties who taught her spiritual healing, but they felt she was never someone with "the gift". Wyatt was always envious and wanted to take for herself prestige her aunties earned from their communities. But she could never discipline herself as a true healer with her complexes of desiring dominance, so while she went to nursing school and was married to Daniel Esparza, she manipulated Robbie Paulson and Jack Strong into being her devoted assistants. Wyatt was known for her grudges and need for attention, so when Daniel wanted a divorce, he poisoned hi skin so he'd develop an allergic reaction and lie she was "cursing" him. Daniel didn't fall for it, and Wyatt went to New York with Robbie and Jack.
Instead of catering to and bonding with local faithful communities, Wyatt scared them into dependence on her. She'd provide herbal remedies and fraudulent spiritual guidance with the lies it would "cure" them specifically to patients needing hospice care so she could con them out of their money. Robbie and Jack were none the wiser and followed her every order under her brainwashing. When any of her consultants or clients challenged her or refused her services, she similarly withheld her remedies or used various substances to cause allergic or mildly toxic reactions to scare them back to her. It all came crashing down when Jack indeed found out she was fraud, but decided to use a love potion she had to dope Kristy Jackson into his orbit. When Wyatt found out, she made Robbie go with her to paralyze Kristy and her sister Sarah with puffer fish poison, the suffocate them with plastic wrap, when Robbie assumed they were already dead.
Wyatt's offices were tracked, and she subtly threatened Detective Mike Logan while manipulating him into being a gentleman and picking up one of her fallen candles. As it was lathered with poison ivy, Logan got a rash, but a genuine healer provided him the calamine lotion he needed once he found out the truth. But as Jack became a liability, Wyatt poisoned him with puffer fish neurotoxins, resulting in him stumbling down the street until his brain finally gave out, and he died on an intersection. Wyatt lied "the spirits" killed him ot further influence Robbie. Logan and Detective Carolyn Barek decided to arrest Robbie for interfering with their investigation, luring Wyatt to the station. They tried to make Wyatt drink one of her own elixirs, knowing it was one of her poisoned concoctions, which they made safe before they brought her over. Robbie tried to drink it, but as Wyatt didn't see the ruse, she stopped him, revealing to him she was tricking him. Robbie them admitted to his role in the Jackson sisters' murders, horrified to find out they were still alive. Wyatt was outraged and shouted as she was arrested she was the true believer and everyone rejecting her was out to get her, but her last threat on Detective Logan didn't scare him at all.
Wyatt was imprisoned for the life for her murders, while Robbie got immunity in exchange for hist testimony.
