History[]
Little is known of Lyle's history. He served in a military unit in Vietnam, First Forest Recon until 1971.
Afterwards, he worked for a number of businessmen as a hitman, including Wayne Brown, whom he became good longtime friends with.
Wayne called his old friend Lyle to kill his wife Ann Brown, who hid in a ranch house. But didn't show up until another day or so. However Michael took Lyle's place as a hitman, until he realized it was his wife. Eventually the real Lyle showed up when Michael ran in a forest, and stumbled upon Lyle, who almost hit him.
Lyle saves Michael gives him a ride, Michael reveals he was a former marines soldier and Lyle revealed he was part of a recon unit, the two go to a bar where Michael decides to go to a bathroom. That's when Wayne arrives and meets with the real Lyle and learns that Michael is not to be trusted. Lyle tries to find Michael but manages to leave the bathroom and find a nearby truck to escape. Lyle eventually deduces Michael went to the ranch and so he goes there to find them both, him and Ann. However as he recons the area he is unable to find Michael or Wayne's wife. Michael is able to hide, and then get the drop on Lyle and knock him out.
Lyle learns that Michael and Ann have left and calls Wayne, who threatens more money, Wayne obliges his request as long as Ann is dead.
The following morning, Michael and Ann return to Wayne's hideout and discover Ann's and Wayne's backgrounds. Wayne is arrested, as Lyle arrives too late. Michael disappointed by Ann, leaves but is knocked out by Lyle and taken to his car, where they are trapped. Lyle goes back to the ranch house, burning the place, to tip off the cops, and allow him to free Wayne. Lyle forces Michael to play chicken, as Michael scolds Lyle wanting him to "blow him" already, as Lyle finds his taunts laughable. Michael is able to drive past a train and make it to the graveyard spot.
Lyle forces Wayne to open the safe, but is then threatened by his old friend to give him the keys or he'll shoot him. Instead Lyle is forced to betray his former friend by throwing a knife in the throat. This allows Michael to stop him, as the two fight, Lyle then remembers Michael's wounded leg and uses this to gain the upper hand and use chains to restrain him. Lyle spots a nearby statue with a sword, and tries to kill Michael, but Michael manages to gain the upper hand and spinning him and Lyle around for Lyle to get impaled by the statue. Somehow this doesn't kill him, and demands Michael to face him as he isn't through with him. Michael then acknowledges that he is better than him. Enraged, Lyle is able to remove himself from the statue and almost silently kill Michael, only to be shot multiple times by Wayne's wife: Ann, an ironic feat being slain by the woman that Lyle was supposed to kill originally.
Personality[]
Lyle is a cunning and calculative hitman, possible due to years of serving as military soldier during the Vietnam War. When meeting Michael Williams he found him a very puzzling individual, but still respected him because of the two backstories in the military fields. It wasn't until he learned of his true name from his friend Wayne, he was more imitated by acts, and sized him up to see if he was a better military figure than him, but was more of jealously and greed when Michael managed to outmaneuver him during their final conflict. Despite his sinister nature, he is shown to be a somber fellow, as such when he tried to put down his friend Wayne, whom are both old friends and expressed sadness, when Wayne threatened him.
