You insult me! My mental bolts will tear your mind apart! Even the mind of a so-called immortal is no match for M.O.D.O.K.!

~ M.O.D.O.K. after Thor insults him.
M.O.D.O.K.(alternatively spelt as M.O.D.O.C.) is a supporting antagonist in Season 1 of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. He is a superior techno-organic living computer, who is the head of the terrorist organization A.I.M., and seeks world domination.
He was voiced by Wally Wingert, who also voiced Rufus Shinra in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and the Riddler in the Arkhamverse.
M.O.D.O.K. was originally a human called George Tarleton, who somehow turned himself into a computer machine with a superior brain and high-level mental powers. He also rose to power as one of the world's greatest mind, and the head of the terrorist organization A.I.M, which created abnormal experiments and funded advanced weapons, mainly for HYDRA. Eventually, he was arrested by S.H.I.E.L.D. and imprisoned in the Vault prison.
When the breakout from the main five supervillain prisons occurred (secretly orchestrated by Loki), M.O.D.O.K. was one of the many villains who broke out and continued his role as leader of A.I.M. He also closely allied himself with HYDRA and began working for it(secretly planning to use HYDRA).
When the brother of the Grim Reaper, Simon Williams, had his company bought by Iron-Man, the Grim Reaper told M.O.D.O.K. to enhance him and grant him powers. Grim Reaper then brought Simon, who reluctantly agreed. Grim Reaper noticed the Cosmic Cube in A.I.M's possession and told him that Baron Von Strucker wanted an update on it. M.O.D.O.K. angrily retaliated and told him he will tell Strucker himself instead if there is an update. As they prepared to carry the experiment out, Wasp and Thor, having followed an A.I.M shuttle, attacked.
After starting the process using the Cosmic Cube, he was confronted by the two heroes. Thor mocked M.O.D.O.K., who angrily used a laser to briefly blast him through a wall. Wasp then began firing sting blasts on M.O.D.O.K. while avoiding lasers from him. While trying to blast her, his lasers hit Williams' experiment, adding additional energy. As M.O.D.O.K. watched in shock, Williams' body was destroyed and his new body emerged, a purple form of pure cosmic energy. As he flew out to gain revenge on Iron-Man, M.O.D.O.K. evilly laughed and proudly claimed he succeeded.
Thor instead lifted him and flew through the wall with him in his grasp. M.O.D.O.K. then broke free of Thor's hands, and when Thor tried to fly at him M.O.D.O.K. overpowered the Prince of Thunder with a powerful energy wave. Wasp flew in and planted sting blasts in M.O.D.O.K.'s red controller, causing the wave to break. Thor used Mjolnir and sent M.O.D.O.K. flying away, but before he could charge him, M.O.D.O.K. used his control panel to shut his hole and activate self-destruction before escaping.
Later, A.I.M and HYDRA made a deal, with Grim Reaper and M.O.D.O.K. conversing, when Hawkeye suddenly leaped of M.O.D.O.K's head and jumped in. Hawkeye then fired an arrow which caused a large mass of smoke, and then flipped into the air and shot an arrow into his controller, sending uncontrollable waves of energy and forcing his humiliated defeat as his A.I.M guards carried him back to their pod and escaped. M.O.D.O.K. and A.I.M finished their work on the Cosmic Cube, but M.O.D.O.K. revealed his true plans to HYDRA to keep it, and the two terrorist factions began a fierce war over it in New York. While in his ship, he noticed a HYDRA missile heading towards him and used his brain control on another A.I.M pilot, who flew his ship there instead and took the missile.
Meanwhile, SHIELD and the Avengers joined the fight to bring down HYDRA and A.I.M. M.O.D.O.K. prepared to embrace the full power of the Cosmic Cube when Strucker's ship shot him down into a warehouse and confronted him. M.O.D.O.K. used his lasers to lift Strucker and his guards in the air and smash them back down, but before he could take the Cube Strucker instead shot him backwards. Advanced HYDRA robots walked in, and when M.O.D.O.K. tried to use his lasers on them, they proved to be too powerful and surrounded him, taking him down before he was arrested by SHIELD, finally defeating the robotic mastermind.
Appearance[]
M.O.D.O.C. looks similar to the comics, but is a little more cut. He has a big head, short limbs and legs, brown eyes, and brown hair. M.O.D.O.C. is enraged because Thor portrayed him as a Frost Giant's head in an infant's body.
Personality[]
M.O.D.O.K. is an insane scientist with an undeniable raving for power. Wishing more in life, M.O.D.O.K. was made only for conquest, and is known for his nefariously cruel and sinister methods. He is annoyed and infuriated whenever one of his mad schemes are failed and insulted when people mock his appearance.
He is also quite scheming, manipulating Baron Von Strucker, Grim Reaper and all of H.Y.D.R.A. to grant himself unlimited power, although this ultimately failed after he was outmatched by the combined might of H.Y.D.R.A.'s advanced technology, the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. He is certain, however, to wipe out anyone standing in his path to prove he is worthy of being the conqueror of the world, of being M.O.D.O.K..
Powers and Abilities[]
Advanced Genius-Level Intellect: M.O.D.O.K. is one of the greatest minds in existence, rivalling the likes of Iron-Man, Mr. Fantastic, Doctor Doom, The Leader and Yellowjacket.
Mental Powers: M.O.D.O.K. can send mental waves or mental bolts to harm his opponent, capable of wounding even the god Thor and easily capable to kill the average human, even from a long-range distance. Without using his mental powers, his pure strength of body can easily send Thor through walls, tearing them apart.
Equipment[]
As his comic-book incarnation does, M.O.D.O.K. uses a rocket chair to support and levitate his enormous head and also has the controls of every A.I.M. facility, weapon and computer, so M.O.D.O.K. can use it as a mainframe.
