Mace is a boss and a major antagonist of the 2012 survival horror game Cry of Fear. A tortured mutation that represents the accident Simon was in, Mace stops at nothing from trying to hurt its creator. His bandage covered body may also represent Simon's injuries after the crash.
Biography[]
As Simon tried to get home to his mother, he encountered Doctor Purnell, sawing off someone’s head as they refused to tell him where a specific key was. As Simon tried to go after him, Purnell ran away and locked a door behind him. Mace suddenly appeared, eating the key the doctor wanted.
Trapped in a room filled with water with no exits, Simon was unable to hurt Mace with his arsenal. The only way to beat the beast was for Simon to use the generators linked to the water and shock him without getting electrocuted himself in the process.
After Mace was beaten, Simon found a saw and cut him open, taking the key.
