The Machine Beasts are the cybernetic elite warriors of the Machine Empire Baranoia and the antagonists in Chouriki Sentai Ohranger. When they were defeated, assuming that their bodies are still intact, Acha and Kocha enlarge the Machine Beasts by injecting or blasting them with energy from a special growth program.
Species History[]
The very first Machine Beasts were created by the ancient people of Pangea. the original continent of Earth, in order to serve and live alongside them. However, the machines rebelled against their creators and killed all but one of the Dorin but were entirely wiped out by Riki; the legendary hero whose Super-Power was enough to help the civilisation defeat the machines. As the sole survivor, Bacchus Wrath escaped to the Baranoia Planet where he spent millions of years rebuilding the machine Beasts and his own family. The Machine Beasts and Barlo Soldiers were able to devastate and conquer multiple planets but Bara Nightmare turned against the Baranoians as he wanted to pursue his own scheme so Bacchus Wrath tried to execute him only for Bara Nightmare to escape. He would spend decades kidnapping school girls for his own entertainment; beginning with Momo's childhood friend Miyuki.
Eventually, the Baranoia Empire turns to Earth in 1999 to conquer Bacchus Wrath's home planet. He first sends Bara Drill and Bara Saucer but both are destroyed by the new Ohrangers. From then on, the Machine Beasts are usually sent by their masters with the goal of either torturing or enslaving humanity, killing the Ohrangers, or both with few exceptions. Four elite Machine Beasts (Bara Missiler, Bara Baby, Bara Darts and Bara Printer) are kept on Daradura until they are summoned to destroy the Ohrangers after the death of Bara Brain. Eventually, Bacchus Wrath begins to scrap machines that show emotion but a number of scrapped machine parts end up fusing together to form a new Machine Beast called Bara Revenger. Angry with Bacchus Wrath over his perceived betrayal, Bara Revenger turns on the Baranoia and aligns with the Ohrangers so Bacchus Wrath sends Acha and Kocha to brainwash him into fighting the Ohrangers with help from the Barlo Soldiers which forces Yuji to kill him.
More animalistic Machine Beasts are kept in cages by Machine Beast Tamer Keris and she keeps them in storage in a zoo-like space on the Moon. After the death of Bara Hungry she is employed to kill RIkki and Dorin after they return to Earth but she is only able to deploy Bara Goblin and Bara King before her death and what happened to the rest is unknown. After the death of Bara Faucet, Bacchus Wrath executes his ultimate plan; harnessing the power of the Earth's volcanic magma, recreating an army of past Machine Beasts as giants and upgrading them with the Magma Enhancement Program to allow them to kill the Ohrangers. However, the Ohrangers ultimately penetrate the cave system where the upgrades are taking place and destroy most of the monsters by collapsing the cave on top of them. Despite this, four upgraded Machine Beasts are able to escape before the collapse only to be killed by the Blocker Robos. After Bacchus Wrath's defeat, four serve Bomber the Great until Kaiser Buldont and Multiwa overthrow him and take control of the Baranoia. The final Machine Beast is Bara Micron since, after its death, no more are sent as the Baranoia manage to conquer and consolidate control of the Earth; removing the need for Machine Beasts.
Once the Machine Empire Baranoia cease to exist, no more Machine Beasts can be produced but Bara Mobile remains due to being completely absent from the year long invasion for unknown reasons. Teaming up with the Space Bosozoku Bowzock, Bara Mobile plots to revive the Machine Empire and Machine Beasts by turning all humans into "Car-People." However, he is later killed by Ohranger Robo; bringing any hope of the Empire's revival to an end.
Twenty-eight years after the end of the Baranoia Empire, Bara Breaking is summoned by Tylerian Donking.to kill Gira and Utsusemimaru after the former wins the tournament for the OhgerCrown. It participates in the in the final battle against the King-Ohgers, Utchy, Doggie and Riki alongside the Anaroids and Yartot Sailors with the Machine Beast fighting Gira, Prince and Riki. However, it is swiftly overwhelmed and destroyed alongside Tylerian Donking by the combined Zyuden Brave Slash, King-Ohger Finish and King Victory Flash; marking the extinction of the Machine Beasts.

Trivia[]
- Despite being in team-up movies, Bara Mobile and Bara Gear are not cannon to the Super Sentai franchise. The former was because Ohranger occurs in 1999 but they teamed up with Carranger which is set 2 years earlier and the latter because both OhBlocker and Bacchus Wrath appeared in the movie which wouldn't be possible as Bacchus Wrath was permanently defeated during OhBlocker's debut.
