Macubass is a supporting antagonist in Bakugan New Vestroia. It is used by Mylene Farrow after getting rid of her former Bakugan Elico.
History[]
After Mylene disposed of Volt Luster's Brontes and her own Bakugan Elico, Mylene received a newly-built Macubass at an unspecified time between the two arcs of Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia.
Macubass is debuted in Saved By the Siren, wherein Mylene uses it in an ill-fated attempt to secure Knight Percival's Attribute Energy. After Macubass loses in a brief first round, Mylene unveils its ABSIDS ability and regains control over the battle by winning the second round. Quickly employing exactly the same strategy, Macubass nearly wins the brawl, only to be interrupted by the appearance of Klaus and Sirenoid, who backs up Percival. Though holding its own for a while longer, Macubass is trounced by a powerful attack from Percival.
In Earth Invaders, Macubass is used a second time, this time whilst tagging with Aluze against Magma Wilda and Blade Tigrerra. Despite minimal back-up from Aluze, Macubass battles alone for the majority of the brawl and more than holds its own before setting up its opponents to a precision strike from an airborne Aluze. After Aluze is quickly eliminated in the second round, Macubass takes command of the brawl by overwhelming its opponents with a plethora of attacks that nearly drown the both of them. After Tigrerra is eliminated while in attempting to save Wilda, Macubass unleashes its ABSIDS again to ultimately crush its remaining quarry and take his Subterra Attribute Energy.
In All Or Nothing, It appears briefly alongside Farbros, MAC Spider, Boriates, Aluze and Dryoid at the Vexos Motherpalace airport.
In Ambush, Macubass tags with Boriates while aiming to take the Ventus Attribute Energy in a battle with Master Ingram, Shadow Wing and Saint Nemus. Ingram doges Prometheus cannon and uses Great Divine Wing which causes it and Boriates to take no damage due to the trap field. Mylene opens Phantasm which causes Nemus and Ingram to be stuck on the ground. Borates uses buster mega barrel and takes out Ingram while Macubass uses Radiant Claw taking him out causing them to win round 1. In round 2, Nemus and Ingram using Sparkly arrow and Glimmering Shadow Slash. Nemus attacks Boriates while Ingram attacks Macubass. Their foes attacks still proved useless. Mylene and Volt then explain to Shun and Baron that in the mother place they cannot lose due to the usage of the Vexos Trap Field, which continuously restores the G-Power of all Mechanical Bakugan. Boriates then uses Element glow plus Bolt shooter to take out Nemus and Ingram thus causing it and Boriates to win the brawl resulting in the Vexos's acquisition of the Ventus Attribute Energy.
In Mylene's Meltdown, Spectra Phantom and Mira trap Mylene and Shadow Prove inside Bakugan Interspace and initiate a brawl, resulting in a second bout between Macubass and Magma Wilda. Macubas starts off using ABSIDS and attacks Wilda with its drones. It then uses ABSIDS TR 2 and uses the drones to attack Wilda who blocks the attack using chest burn. The burn goes though the drones attacks and takes them all out. Mylene then opens up Aquas Reactor which causes Wilda to get stuck in the water. It then uses Tsunami Hydrair going in the water and causing a huge waterfall to take Wilda away. Macubass then uses Moby Killer to kill Mira before the attack gets blocked my Helios MK2 who uses Chaos Boost Cannon. Wilda gets back and tells Helios he will handle the fight. Helios then returns to Spectra. Despite a distinct environmental advantage from the Aquos Reactor Gate Card, Wilda uses Earth seaker and gets rid of the water. Macubass and Wilda are evenly matched before Wilda uses his most powerful ability known as Hyper Earth ball to utterly burn and destroy Macubass, leaving only its legs intact from a finishing blow. What was left of Macubass was likely destroyed when Bakugan Interspace fell apart due to Mylene's Death Bomb.
