The Mad Hammer Bros. are two crooked construction workers that appear in My Life as a Teenage Robot, serving as the main antagonists of the episode "Sibling Tsunami" and one of the four secondary antagonists (alongside Lancer and Mudslinger) of the episode "The Legion of Evil."
They often cause chaos and destruction seemingly for the fun of it. Not much is known about the duo except that they enjoy causing mischief. Despite their name, they use all sorts of construction tools and hammers seems to be their least used tool.
Thy were both voiced by John Kassir, who also voiced the Crypt-Keeper.
Role[]
They appear for the first time in Sibling Tsunami, where they try to cause a massive flood on Tremorton by destroying weir that maintains the water under control while Jenny has to deal with her reactivated sisters.
Their last appearance was in The Legion of Evil, where they, Vladimir, Mudslinger, and Lancer form into the Legion of Evil to share their vengeance against Jenny. But due to arguing and lack of planning they are foiled by Jenny. In then end they are sent back to jail at the end of the episode.
Trivia[]
- They are an obvious parody to Mario and Luigi from Super Mario Bros. series, and even have a stereotypical Italian accent. The name resembles that of the Hammer Bros. who serve as recurring enemies in almost all Mario games.
- They can also be a reference to Foreman Spike, the main antagonist of Wrecking Crew who also serves as enemy of the Mario Brothers.
- They also share some physical attributes with Mario and Luigi's self-declared evil counterparts Wario and Waluigi and have overalls that are the same colors as Mario and Luigi in the U.S. cartoons.
