Madame is a minor antagonist in Dragalia Lost, serving as the main antagonist of the "Divine Deception" Facility event. Near the end of the event, she becomes what is known as Otherworld Gabriel which serves as a boss for the event and a set up for Jaldabaoth.

Appearance[]

Madame's natural appearance is that of the generic female noble shared with various other characters such as Yelda.

As Otherworld Gabriel, she looks very much like the archangel Gabriel, but in contrast to the archangel's white hair and white uniform, Otherworld Gabriel's hair and attire consists of black and green. Also, unlike Gabriel who carries a plushie of Pinon, Otherworld Gabriel carries a book.

Biography[]

Before the beginning of the event, Madame was a member of a sham group Association of the Aqueous, which sold fake holy water at ludicrous prices. She and the other members were found out one day and the group had to be disbanded. One day, Madame had a meeting with the apostle, Basileus, who seeks to test the power of a sealing stone. Madame was promised that the stone would give her godly powers.

Interested, Madame accepts the offering and starts using the sealing stone to alter people's memories, starting a cult. She does this by offering to do so, but when she does, she makes them forget people important to them. When a child finds her parents refuse her due to Madame's, said child is completely heartbroken. This prompts the apostles and Prince Euden to investigate Madame's activities.

Upon their arrival, Madame offers to rewrite Euden's memories in spite of his protests. It is then that Pinon begins her investigation by frisking Madame for a sealing stone. While she does find it, she lies due to having false memories implanted by Basileus with the stone.

Despite this, both Madame and Basileus realize that Faris remains suspicious of them and orchestrates one of the villagers to be murdered with Faris being blamed. Upon which, they have Pinon hunt the apostle down with the help Pinon's other allies. However, Faris figures this out and uses holy water to dispel Basileus's control over Pinon, allowing the group face both of them as the sealing stone starts letting out miasma.

At first, Madame expresses excitement over acquiring godly power. However, when Basileus reveals she will become a demon, Madame becomes horrified as she turns into Otherworld Gabriel. As Basileus escapes, the party fights the demon while Pinon works on severing her link to the stone. Upon which Otherworld Gabriel reverts back into Madame, leading to her arrest.

As she is being taken away, she reveals to the group that Basileus wasn't alone and that Harle was with him. She also reveals that Harle isn't his real name. Before she could reveal his real name though, Madame suffers a heart attack. The cause of it being unknown.
