Madame Hagfish (born September 9, 1840, at age 170) is a old slime eel (hagfish) and the secondary antagonist in Legends of Bikini Bottom, serving as the main antagonist of the episode "The Curse of the Hex".
She is voiced by Kristen Wiig, who also played Cheetah in Wonder Woman 1984, Katinka Ingaborgovinananananana in Zoolander 2, Mrs. Hattie in Despicable Me, Balthazar Bratt's Lucy Wilde disguise in Despicable Me 3, Herald in Mother! and Sharon Fishman in Barb and Star Go To Vista Del Mar. In later episodes, she is voiced by Jill Talley.
History[]
Madame Hagfish enters the Krusty Krab and spews slime in front of Squidward Tentacles. Squidward refused to give her a Krabby Patty since these type of burgers have gone up in cost since she had been there before and Madame Hagfish only uses a couple of shells as money. When SpongeBob tries to give her some patties, but is caught by Mr. Krabs, she later puts a curse on the Krusty Krab that causes no sign of any customers, plates falling without big thumps, and dollars on fire and torn apart, then catching on fire again. She has a lot of slime on her body that way she can suffocate her prey like regular hagfishes. SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs, both go to Madam Hagfish's magic wheel wagon house to tell her to remove her curse. To remove the curse from the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob and Krabs are send to get her the golden doubloon that was stolen by the Giant Golden Eel.
SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs enter in Golden Eel's cave and they see the eel sleeping. SpongeBob slips on the Eel's leftover pudding/green slime and the eel wakes up. The Giant Golden Eel grabs Mr. Krabs and starts to strangle him. Sponge punches the eel hard enough to force it to let go Mr. Krabs and was punched by SpongeBob again, this time hard enough to cause it to spit out the doubloon. Sponge and Krabs return and give the doubloon to Madame Hagfish and she puts the doubloon into a washing machine to clean her clothes. She then keeps her word and undo's the curse, which turns out to be just a closed sign she secretly placed in front of the restaurant and was standing for a long time, stating she wouldn't waste a good curse on someone like Krabs. The customers soon return to the Krusty Krab, however, the Giant Golden Eel appears again and goes on a rampage.
In "Captain Pipsqueak", Madame Hagfish is among the villains auditioning to join Every Villain Is Lemons.
