Madame Superchef is a villain from the Teletoon animated series, Sidekick. She is an evil chef, who crushes other people's dreams, along with her robot henchman, Savorbot, who she abuses all the time. She appeared in "Iron Sidechef".
Biography[]
In Iron Sidechef", the sidekicks of Sidekick Academy all had to take a home-ec class against their will. Although they all hated having to take the class at first, the second they were introduced to their teacher, they had instantly changed their tunes. Their teacher turned out to be a kick-butt culinary paragon named Madame Superchef, who claimed to be the greatest super chef in the universe and vowed to turn the sidekicks into master chefs, themselves.
Madame Superchef would torture the sidekicks with horrible cooking challenges, that led to her students experiencing physical pain, such as throwing random ingredients at them and making them cook a delicious meal out of it, while she rapidly-fired a cluster of hot peppers at them. Most of the students ended up getting beaten and burned, except for Eric, who was able to take a break from the warfare and go into zen mode, giving him the perfect opportunity to whip up a delectable dish for Madame Superchef, using some lettuce leaves and ground hot pepper.
Madame Superchef would test out all of the meals that her students made and would have something to say about everything. She brought Vana to tears as she insulted her failure of a tofu salad, she made Kitty feel rather silly about herself for overcooking her ice cream, and she admitted that Trevor's toe fungus sandwich, while infinitely disgusting, was the best meal so far. Then, when she tried Eric's food, she was mesmerized by just how golden it was. Madame Superchef publicly announced to the whole class that Eric was a culinary genius and he was applauded and praised by the rest of the class. Stupidly, Madame Superchef immediately got mad at Eric for soaking up all of this fame that could have gone to her, event thought she was the one who made him famous in the first place. It was at this point, Madame Superchef vowed revenge on Eric for something that she forced him into doing.
Eric's success led to him opening a restaurant right across the street from Madame Superchef's restaurant, which led to her immensely losing business to him. Infuriated with Eric outshining her, Madame Superchef challenged him to a cook off, wherein the loser would never get too cook again. Eric took her up on this challenge and they both went to war.
On an episode of the cooking show, Sidekick Sidecook Cook-Off, Eric and and sous-chef Trevor faced off against Madame Superchef and her sous-chef, Savorbot. Their meals were to be judged by the expert panel of Kitty Ko, Master XOX, and Tastebot. During the challenge, Madam Superchef, would be extremely horrible to her sous-chef, Savorbot, demanding he collect her 1,000 butterfly wings, which was absolute pain and misery for him to go through. After he finally got her the butterfly wings, Madame Superchef told him that she changed her mind and actually wants him to get her tiger whiskers instead, which was incredibly aggravating to Savorbot, who was now beaten and in shambles. Nevertheless, he still got her the tiger whiskers, which she thanklessly added to her meal. This was not the end of her animal abuse, as she would also insult a unicorn until it cried, so that she could utilize unicorn tears in her meal too.
At the end of the challenge, Eric and Madame Superchef presented their respective meals to the palenists. Kitty voted for Eric since she was in love with him, XOX made an honest vote for Madame Superchef since he found her meal to be super duper as opposed to Eric's meal that was just super, and the tiebreaker was Tastebot, who, after a long buildup of drama, ultimately settled on Madame Superchef. Madame Superchef celebrated her victory as Eric sadly shut down his business once and for all. However, Eric wasn't too sad to see his company go, as he found being the head chef of his own restaurant to be too much work anyway and preferred to go back to his old life as just a regular dude. He and Trevor walked off into the distance together and got pretty hungry. Trevor suggested they order a pizza from Madame Superchef.
