Madoushi is a main antagonist in Cardcaptor Sakura The Movie from the CLAMP's Magical Girl anime television series, Cardcaptor Sakura, and she is a sorceress and as a vengeful spirit who was wishing to kill her former rival, Clow Reed.

In the Japanese dub, she was voiced by Megumi Hayashibara in the original Japanese who also voiced Jessie (Musashi in Japanese version) from Pokémon series and Sailor Galaxia from Sailor Moon Cosmos the Movie. In the English dubbed version, she was voiced by Nicole Oliver who voiced Daybreaker from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Henna from Barbie Mariposa and her Butterfly Fairy Friends, Dame Devin in Barbie: Princess Charm School, Jean in Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, Empress Beatrix in the first season of Ninjago: Dragons Rising and the Never Witch in the second season of LEGO DREAMZzz series.

Biography

Background

The Madoushi resided in Hong Kong during the time of Clow Reed and made her living by hydrokinetic fortunetelling, which was later rivalled by Clow's more accurate fortunetelling. The evil sorceress, Madoushi antagonized Clow whenever she could, but Clow attempted to make peace with her by giving her a hair ornament for her birthday. Sometime after this, Madoushi fell in love with Clow but never got to tell him her feelings and as a result, unknowingly created a pocket dimension for her spirit during as punishment.

Events of Cardcaptor Sakura the Movie

Months after Sakura Kinomoto becomes the Cardcaptor, Madoushi begins entering her dreams and manipulates a lottery game so that Sakura wins a trip to Hong Kong.

Trivia

• Madoushi is a minor antagonistic character and a same role of Nehelenia from Sailor Moon series as they got anger and vengeance and imprisoned in the dimension.
