Mads Nielsen is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Oliver Nordgren) of the second season of the Danish-Swedish crime drama Bron/Broen. He is a eco-terrorist trying to spread the plague across Denmark and Sweden on Oliver Nordgren's orders.
He was portrayed by Jakob Oftebro.
Biography[]
Season 2[]
A boat crashes into the Oresund Bridge. When the police arrives, there are no crew, just 5 drugged kids. Mads and his associates, Niklas Svensson and Mathilde Madsen chained the kids on the boat and infected them with the pneumonic plague.
After the confirmed death of the kids, Mads, Niklas, Mathilde and Katharina Lövgren filmed a video on YouTube showing about some environmental problems and threatening the citizens of Malmö and Cobenhagen with more attacks to come. Mads then stole a car and blew it up on a hill in order to see what kind of explosion does 20 liters of gasoline cause. Mads then starts his own initial plan without okaying it with Oliver as blowed up a petrol tanker at the harbor with the help of his associates.
As said Mads was not okay it with Oliver and he wasn't very happy about it, claiming the kids had too many ideas as he gassed them on a container.
