~ The first time Maestro met Sensei in real life. |
Maestro is a major antagonist in the 2021 roleplay RPG game, Blue Archive. He is a secondary antagonist in the Treaty of Eden arc.
He is a paranormal artist in the form of a wooden mannequin, the creator of the Communio Sanctorums, Justina Council of Saints Terror and the Shiro, Kuro and Goz, and he became a member of the Gematria to fulfill his artistic desires.
Personality[]
Maestro is a ruthless, narcissistic and egotistical sociopath with a twisted view of art, he takes great pride in his artistic talents and seeks to showcase his twisted art within Kivotos. He also takes great dislike to his art being disrespected, telling students who call him a mannequin to call him "Maestro", a title reserved for masters of the art world. He also despises the arbitrary use of his art in the hands of others. For example, when Beatrice unilaterally used his work, the Terrorized Saint Justina, without his permission, he was furious, demanding that she not use his art without his permission, and would have fought her if not for Golconde's intervention. Also, it seems that he is conducting research on immortality through the realm of art.
Despite his egoism, he, like Black Suit, sees Sensei as an understander who will understand him; he thinks highly of Sensei's abilities and character, giving him the best example he can and treating him with respect in his conversations with Sensei; and he maintains amicable relations with the other members of Gematria, with the exception of Beatrice, who informs Black Suit of Francis's danger.
Biography[]
Treaty of Eden[]
He is the dealer Arius speaks of, and the terror Saint Justina is also a replica of himself, as are Shiro & Kuro. She takes offense to Arius' students calling her a mannequin, demanding that they call him "Maestro," and is thoroughly dismissive of them, saying that you people who don't even understand what art is don't deserve to be my conversation partner. Nevertheless, he is intrigued by the prospect of replicating the majesty of the Guardians, so he agrees to help, and in the chaos following Arius' terrorist attack, he descends into the basement of the destroyed castle of Santurum to create Hieronymus.
He then admires Sensei's success in foiling the Eden Pact terrorist attack perpetrated by the Arius Squad, unleashes the still-imperfect Hieronymus, and raves when he sees Sensei play an adult card to defeat Hieronymus. He then disappears, saying that he will visit him in his dreams when he has a more perfect version, as the current one is incomplete.
At Gematria's meeting, he still takes the most favorable stance, arguing that if they can get the teacher on board, he will be their greatest advocate. He takes offense to Beatrice's attempts to get rid of him as a hindrance, and in fact, as soon as the meeting begins, he asks her if they've had a falling out in the past: "I would never have given you permission to use my masterpiece in such a way, would I?" When Beatrice responds by saying that the Mimesis itself doesn't belong to you, he becomes enraged and tries to fight her, but Golconde intercedes both.
Where All Miracles Begin Arc[]
At a meeting of the Gematria, where the variables have become too much for even the Gematria to handle and there is a real possibility that Kivotos could be destroyed, the Maestro, whose relationship with the Gematria is already at an all-time low, lashes out at Beatrice for using the colors for her own selfish ends and bringing Kivotos to the brink of destruction, saying, "Do you think you can stick your neck out for a subject that has violated the will of the Gematria time and time again? Golcant and the Black Suit try to mediate between them, but the truth is revealed: Beatrice has not merely tried to use some of the colors, but has deliberately given away the coordinates to lead them to Kivotos.
When Beatrice persists, blaming Sensei and the Gematria for her self-rationalization, Sensei is outraged and, completely devastated by her actions, calls an impromptu vote and, with the support of two others who are fed up with her hate-fueled abandonment of her position as a researcher and objective, unanimously expels her from the Gematria. The exiled Beatrice is then transformed into a monster by the power of the colors, and teabagged by Dumby, the Black Suit, and Golcant as she is defeated by the colors' countermeasures, consumed by the colors, and destroyed by karmic cleansing. Shortly thereafter, he and the rest of the Gematria check their power for Parusia, but just as they are about to fail due to a lack of prepared sublime, they are attacked by Bad Future Shiroko.
Like the Black Suit, the Maestro has been so badly beaten that his clothes are ragged, his body is damaged in many places, and his left half is beyond repair, so with the help of the Black Suit, he's been crudely piecing together parts from other mannequins to keep himself together. But he doesn't seem to mind, saying that the body is just a tool. After summarizing the situation, he and Black Suit discuss the transformation of Golcant into Francis, suggesting that Francis is perhaps even more dangerous than Beatrice, and disappears after declaring the temporary dissolution of Gematria. Unlike the Black Suit, he does not appear in front of you afterward, either because he has fled to safety or because he believes that you and the Black Suit are the ones who will take action against the Colors, and he has decided to restore Gematria's resources and create a new Communio Sanctorum.
Trivia[]
- He is the only member of Gematria to create a raid boss himself. Black Suit and Golcomte only watch over the already created raid boss, but Maestro uses his mimesis ability to create Slumpia's Shiro/Kuro and Goz, as well as Hieronymus and Gregorius. It's just a matter of time, but his artistic talent has proven to be outstanding.
- Unlike the other members who are mortals who have bodies within Gematria, he is a supernatural being, treating his mannequin body as a tool that allows him to function in the real world, or creating clones and living creatures with mimesis. There is a lot of evidence that he is a supernatural being.
