Magdas is a magnet-themed Majin and the main antagonist in episode 38 of 1998 TV series called Seijuu Sentai Gingaman.
He is voiced by Hajime Koseki who previously voiced Bara Magma and a Mushroom Nezire.
History[]
Magdas made his first appearance at the castle when he does doing a chant with the Yartots. His boss Battobas has asked Magdas to round up every children so that way they can be used to extract the space dust from Daitanix's bloodstream which Magdas happily obliges.
A while later he appeared in the forest as he and the Yartots raid a bus filled with children. Once the task was done he used his Magnet Staff and sets the dial towards children as all of the kids were sucked towards him after that he used the ruler to measure the heights of each kid if they're tall enough he or she will be put in a bag, if not well he'll tossed him or her to the side. Thankfully though the Gingaman arrived to stop the kidnapping and during the confrontation he pointed out that the beast itself has been resurrected which surprised the team, but he was interrupted by the arrival of Hyuuga as he gunned down the pirate making him to retreat from the area.
A while later he arrived at an amusement park as he once again set the dial on his Magnet Staff towards children as he manages to do more measurements on the kids. Thankfully though the team arrived and interrupt the process, so to this response he used his Magnet Staff and open fired at the team. Back at the amusement park the team were getting overwhelmed by Magdas' attack, thankfully though Ryouma manages to save his team. After that the team equipped themselves with Radiant Beast Armor and then they brought Magdas down for the count by this finisher called Galactic Flash.
However Magdas wasn't about to give up the plan that easily so he enlarges himself by drinking some Balba extract prompting the team to bring out Radiant Armored Gingai-Oh to battle this giant pirate. Now during the fight Magdas set the dial on his Magnet Staff as he manages to pull in the mecha's sword giving him the edge in battle as he attacks the megazord on the ground. Thankfully GigaRhinos was brought in to play as it manages to deflect every attack that Magdas has at this megazord. After being thrashed about by the GigaRhino Magdas was then destroyed by this finisher called Great Ginga Cross Slash.
Now during the crossover movie Magdas is later revived and killed again by the Megarangers in Seijuu Sentai Gingaman vs. Megaranger.
