Max Eisenhardt, better known as Magneto, one is of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Doctor Doom) of Lego Marvel: Superheroes. he is the leader of the brotherhood of mutants , and one of Doctor Dooms closest allies, aiding him in his goal to collect the cosmic bricks and conquer the world.
He was voiced by Nolan North.
History[]
Magneto first appears in Rock Up at the Lock Up where he and the rest of the Brotherhood cause a breakout at the supervillain prison the Raft, with the main objective of freeing Loki. He is confronted by Hulk, Wolverine and Iron Man, but escapes, destroying the latter's armor in the process.
He returns in Juggernaut and Crosses, where he is sent by Doom to steal the Tesseract from the X-Men, power source needed for the "Doctor Doom's Doom Ray of Doom". Magneto succeeds, wrecking X-Mansion in the process.
At the end of A Sinking Feeling he takes control of the Statue of Liberty, first using it to save Doom from capture and then proceeding to steal Roxon's experimental nuclear core in Taking Liberties, while also taking care of Hulk, Mister Fantastic and Wolverine.
In Rapturous Rise Magneto uses the stolen core to power up his island's defense system and sends his Acolytes, Dinosaurs, (which he imported from the Savage Land), Rhino and Mystique,(disguised as him), to fight the Thing, Captain America and Storm. At the end the island rises in to the sky, being revealed as Asteroid M, Magneto's old base of operations.
He fights against Iron Man, Thor and Spider-Man in Magnetic Personality where he is defeated for good and send to the Earth, crashing in to the Baxter Building.
After his defeat, he joins the heroes in the battle against Galactus, defeating both him and Loki, and is given a head start to escape by the heroes.
Magneto makes his last appearance in the Deadpool bonus mission The Thrill of the Chess. In the level he and Mystique fight Mysterio who had stolen Magneto's chess set. They recover the set and Magneto is beaten by Mystique in a match.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Magnetic Powers: He is one of the few characters in the game to posses magnetic powers. This allows him to interact with magnetic Lego objects, generate a magnetic force field around him and fly while using one of the aforementioned objects as a base.
